The biggest thing for me, people who volunteer to read out loud, and probably couldn't even read volunteer off of the page...Reading out loud in class is literally the worst thing ever. I mean sure, in elementary school it's fine, but even all the way through High School people in my classes would insist that things were read aloud.I don't mind it being read out loud, I just really hate those people who stumble over words that are easy as heck... May 10, 201214 yr I hated when we had to read out loud in high school. I'm a generally fast reader, and listening to other people read aloud bores me, which makes me tired. So either I'd get sleepy, or read ahead, then get called on, resulting in me being confused as to where the last person left off. It's highschool for crying out loud. Yes, some of the people probably can't read for crap, but I think we are all grown up enough to read a text to ourselves. Unfinished netherrack symbol of Khorne. My reading comprehension and recall when I read something out loud is effectively none (I got tested for this :thumbup: ) When I talk, or recite from memory, I can talk with all the emotion of a drama student. If I have to read something out loud, I do so with all the emotion of a monotone robot with an overburdened processor. I HATE reading out loud, both because I have to read it again if I wan't to know what I just said, and because it makes me sound illiterate. On the plus side, it keeps me from making power point presentations where I just read my slides (which is also really annoying).

I don't think people understand, if a big record label asks you to sing and pays you thousands of dollars, nobody would refuse that offer regardless of their singing skill. It all stems down to "my genre isn't as popular as JB pop".
