Things that annoy the HELL out of you.

It should be legal to murder people that touch the monitor and leave fingerprints and smudges.

I'll support this if you support me in my belief that we should be able to run down jaywalkers (at least the ones who saunter and force you to slow down/stop).

It is legal. At least where I live, if you get hit crossing the street on a red light or not at a crosswalk, you're liable.

Huh? I was told in my Business Law class that any time a pedestrian is hit by a vehicle, the driver is liable.

I had this argument with my friend, because I was certain it was the way you say. I looked it up, and he was right; it's the pedestrian's liability, at least in my home town. I don't know why.

Surely they can't be liable if you see them and then floor the gas pedal?

I think we decided that they're liable, but that you're going to be in prison for attempted murder.

I'm sharing a room with an individual whom I can't stand. He's very ignorant, the kind of person that thinks the ability to say a point loudly and with adult language makes him right, and has been directing his anger at NBC for the last four hours. I dread moments where he brings up politics or religion, because it's always clear that he has no idea what he's talking about.

If there's proof that you sped up and they didn't just jump our at you when you were moving fast. It makes sense that it's the pedestrians liability though. The only time they have the right-of-way (at least where I'm from) is at a stoplight/crosswalk/other designated crossing spot. If they cross anywhere else it's (technically) illegal, so they're liable as a result.

When the threads in these forums load ....wait.... faster? o.O Ierno about you guys, but the pages are loading fast for me now. At least, at the moment.

And I guess it annoys me when I buy some clothing and I end up not liking it and never wearing it. I wish I could take all the clothing that I've worn less than 5 times (there's quite a bit of it) and get the money I paid for it. I bought a pair of Levi pants for $60 that ended up being too tight on me despite the exact same dimensions in their denim pants fit perfectly on me. But I decided not to return them because I wanted to tough it out and wear them anyway. Well, that is my own fault, because now I rarely wear them. And then I find out that Zumiez sells the exact style of pants I like for twenty dollars cheaper, and they fit and look much better.

MageUK made up a new piece of code for the forums so that rather than having the large threads load in 40-50 seconds, they load in about 1 second. Something about MySQL getting tied up every time someone loaded a large thread, which is all the time, and it making the forums slower for everyone. Needless to say, Mage is a wizard and we are lucky to have him

No idea what you're talking about.

;)

This is a bit of a weird one, but when you're talking to someone who's on a different sobriety level than you. Or in less fancy term, trying to converse with an incredibly drunk (or otherwise intoxicated) guy when sober or vice versa. Both parties end up getting annoyed with the other, because the drunk guy just won't shut up and the sober guy just feels awkward.

On the subject of drunkards, when a person who is drunk immediately thinks they're everybody's best friend.

I've probably said this before, but my roommate is one of these dudes. He feels like he needs to do everything in his power to make sure everyone at the party is having just as much fun as he is, and if not, he'll either 1) laugh at you to try and lighten up the mood or 2) (usually with girls) he'll go 'boyfriend mode' on them and try to get them to be happy and hug them and kiss them, etc.

So [bleep]ing annoying. I bring it up because we're moving into our house next week and he'll be 21, so he'll be getting drunk often.

I have this cousin who says stuff like 'I'm so fat,' 'I'm so ugly' and other annoying phrases teenage girls utter. At first I reassured her she was not (which she isn't) but now I just have a bleh attitude to it. I don't think she'll turn into on of those eating disorder teens but to one of those kids who say they're fat and still eat 3 packets of crisp a day.

I dislike those types of people. They tend to be teenage girls though and I don't talk to many of those.

She's probably just doing it to get attention. It's like all the girls on Facebook who post a profile pic and caption it "ugh i look so ugly in this pic" just so they get a bunch of compliments.

I'm guessing blue is the character and red the sword which can't take damage despite dealing it. In which case that's totally ridiculous. I thought Snake was bad:

My friend spent a few weeks persuading me to buy a Reading Festival ticket (I'm excited about it now but at the time I wasn't that arsed and didn't really have the money for it) but about a week ago she sold her ticket because she 'couldn't afford it', didn't even bother checking that I had somebody else to go with - luckily I do, but that's not the point - and now she's updated her status saying she's booked an impulse trip to Paris despite not being able to afford Reading. So pissed off.

I just found out that I've got to spend another semester at community college, not because of budget cuts or the fact that they have so many more students than they have the capacity for, but because apparently they can reschedule one of the classes I'm in without any kind of warning or notification. The new time conflicts with another class I was on the waitlist for.

The only reason I was on a waitlist for that class? I signed up for it at the beginning of the summer, but the same thing happened to a different class, which forced me to change my schedule a week or so before classes were scheduled to start.
