  • Thanks to you, I'm imagining a circle of hell that's a movie theater that plays nothing but child porn (And Setzer/Friedberg movies, this is hell after all), and it's impossible to see or hear anythin

  • How hard it is to find classy/ unobtrusive merchandise relating to shows in general (but especially anime).   All I want is a nice watch or keychain that will remind me of my favorite show when I look

What annoys me is this:

DO YOU HEAR THE VOICES TOO?!?!

Yeah, not seeing a picture annoys me too, I often see "Posted Image". Wondering what website the people that the pictures don't appear use.

People who linger after a conversation is obviously over.

There's this older guy at work who does this all the time. We'll be talking about some piece of work that's frustrating for him or something like that and then the conversation will basically die off, with me saying something like, "Well, I hope you figure it out without too much more hassle." And he'll just stand in the doorway of my cubicle, saying, "Well, yup..." And hover there for like, 30 seconds. Awkward as hell.

More often then not he'll break the silence, saying, "Well, I'm gonna go get some coffee," and then leave.

The lack of activity in the forums in general. arrrr.png

I remember when I used to leave my computer for about five minutes and then come back just to see 6-10 more posts.

Today is my last day of my internship, so the office has cake and ice cream to thank me and the other intern and to 'wish us well in our future adventures'. And I really wish they didn't do that. It's gonna be awkward, I know it. Hopefully it doesn't last too long. These kind of celebrations annoy me.

That one clingy friend that always wants to voicechat on Skype with you, play games on Steam with you... And they know most of your screen names for various websites so they can talk to you on there too. Apart from TIF, here I am free to complain.

I hate it when Tip.it is so slow that it takes 10 minutes to post 3 meaningless posts.

And when I stay up 'til 4am for no good reason.

The only difference between Hitler and the man next door who comes home and beats his kids every day is circumstance. The intent is the same-- to harm others.

I told her there was a secret method to doing it - and there is - but my once nimble and agile fingers were unable to perform because I was under the influence.

TTanT, I feel the same way. These new forums are really bugging me with their slowness.

Yeah I don't know what's causing the forums to be this slow, but I thought I was alone in this lol. The fact that I sweat so easily annoys me, I always have my t-shirt wet before everyone else... And it doesn't help that we have temperatures around 34 Celsius almost every day and no rain to refresh it around (this summer's been so dry that even potatoes are dying in my father's garden)..

Do you exercise a lot?

And as I understand it, part of the slowness loading threads was caused by a bugfix for a minor issue that was put in place, and has now been removed. It seems no one bothered to tell Mage that it was having a noticeable impact before today -.- Not sure how much of an impact it was having, but at least for the smaller threads it should help out.

I used to exercise a lot, but not as much anymore. I guess I better get back at it lol. Even when I did exercise a few hours a day I'd end up the first with a wet tshirt lol. I'm just made like that I think, and I think part of the reason is I drink probably more water than I should in a day.

I have to take a stupid online drug and alcohol abuse course for school. How stupid is it?

1) How often do you have a drink containing alcohol?

>Never

2) How many drinks containing alcohol do you have on a typical day of drinking?

>...Didn't I just say I've never drank an alcoholic beverage?

3) How often do you have six drinks or more on one occasion?

>Are you serious?

4) How often during the last year have you found that you were not able to stop drinking after you started?

>I HATE YOU SO MUCH!

EDIT: This just in! 0% of American men drink less than me in a typical week! I can't believe it!

What the... I don't get how...

...it doesn't even have a set of options for if you don't? And #4 just seals it. The test literally cannot be honest if you're not an alcoholic.

It's a horrible feeling. Especially when you can't take them out for another couple of hours and your eyes feel raw. :|

Many believe that the 1980 eruption of Mt. Saint Helens was a catostrophic geological event, in reality it was the day that Jimi Hendrix returned to Earth from the next world and actually stood up next to a mountain and chopped it down with the edge of his hand.

-Random Youtuber

Or when you keep them in too long and they're incredibly difficult to get out because they're sticking so hard.

Also, Sbrideau, if I recall correctly, exercising regularly would make you sweat faster and not slower. Since your body's used to having to sweat while exercising, it'll start sweating faster whenever you're physically moving in preparation for exercise.

Waking up at 5am for a flight at 8 (need to be there an hour before the flight, takes me an hour to wake up/eat/shower/get dressed/get ready and another 20 minutes to get to school and another ~50 minutes of prep work for the flight) only to have your flight canceled because of bad weather that appeared out of no where in a matter of 10 minute :|

Seriously not cool.

This is even worse when you are taking an online one and they give you the option to say you didn't drink at all, but then somewhere else in the test they ask you for how many drinks you have in a typical week and they don't give you an option to say zero. It's like they were forcing me to say I had drank alcohol. And then, there were other questions like the above that assumed you were a straight up alcoholic: do you feel like you don't have the power to stop your drinking", "do you think you would have the ability to quit your drinking habits if you committed to doing so?", and "how big of an issue is your drinking to you?" Pretty stupid questions.

Yeah, this happened to me last night. I was at a friend's house and didn't have my contact solution/case/glasses, so I just had to power through it. Not only do your eyes feel raw, but then the contacts start blurring your vision as opposed to helping it. And at least personally, my eyes start to 'weep' a lot, which is annoying and gross.

I never did the "mandatory" alcohol education for my school. Nothing happened to me.

[bleep] the law, they can eat my dick that's word to Pimp

This alcohol education reminds me of the PSHE lessons they have in English schools, and which I could not abide; firstly for the moralising tone of the classes, but also because the same issues were repeated year on year for five years - alcohol, cigarettes, taxes, drugs, credit cards and disabled people - without any variation or respite.

The only highlight was a particularly witty boy in my old class, who made the following joke:

TEACHER: I hope nobody here smokes cigarettes because -

(shouting) BOY: I prefer cigars!

(stunned silence, Boy grins smugly)

"Imagine yourself surrounded by the most horrible cripples and maniacs it is possible to conceive, and you may understand a little of my feelings with these grotesque caricatures of humanity about me."

- H.G. Wells, The Island of Doctor Moreau

Where I was going with the exercise question was not where your thinking. If you regularly exercise (to the point where you need to sweat), then your body learns to sweat harder and sooner. Your body has no idea if your just walking up a flight of stairs to your room, or starting out on your daily 15km run. As a result, people who exercise a lot sweat a lot harder, and a lot easier, than average people do. An average person's body will typically wait until it needs to sweat to actually start, because you haven't essentially trained it to be proactive. By the sounds of it though, this shouldn't be an issue for you. I'm not sure how long it takes for the body to go back to normal person mode, but I imagine it's no more than a few months.

Calling Healthcare Reform "Obamacare". Normally this isn't the kind of thing I care about but since Olympic season is at the same time as campaign ad season, I've been sitting through a lot of political advertisements. And without fail, every republican running for anything says that they are going to fight "Obamacare" at least once, often more. And I'm fine with repealing it being their political agenda. However, I know that by calling it Obamacare, there are tons of people who will vote for them because it's anti-Obama, while if they had said that they plan to fight against Healthcare Reform, plenty of those same people wouldn't care, or would even be less likely to vote for that candidate.

Not really a pressing concern or annoyance of mine, but one of these ads came on while I was eating breakfast and I thought I'd post.

*I'll add a disclaimer here saying that being against the Healthcare reform isn't a bad thing, nor do I think that everyone who is was tricked into it by blind hatred of Obama. I know plenty of people who are intelligent and have reasoning for why they are against it. It's not the being against it that bothers me, it's the misinformation.
