Wessan
I consider myself to be a fisherman in RS and it is a way i have made income for a long time. Recently (in the past month) I have seen fish prices drop fairly dramatically and I dont know why. Did I miss some update that allows people to go into combat without food ever? Sara brews ya, but they wont replace food on a normal basis. What is up with the Fish recession?

Cheefoo
Oil spill.Wouldn't an oil spill mean higher fish prices? Less stock, more demand I presume... :unsure:We found pies to be much tastier, and wonder why we ever ate fish in the first place. They're all dead anyway, I don't think all the demand in the world can ever bring them back. yuriqiu
I just think people stopped careing as much about 99 cook. So raw fish is kind of stagnant. Cooked fishes still are selling. Really stable commodities tbh. Until all of a sudden a race to 200m Cooking craze strikes RS I doubt raw fish will change much.
Wessan
Damn, I really dont want to cook all my fish. Especially since I have 99 cooking already. But if cooked fish rise, raw will most likely do the same.
Will H
It's got nothing to do with the boots, pretty much all fish have the same graph that extends over the past month or so, but a rising trend for sara brews. I can't explain it. ~ W ~
Ts_Stormrage
Fish dropping while Brews rise makes sense... But why did the cooked swordfish drop from 500 to 425 in less then a week time... noble_aloof
fishing has always been an overrated money maker and tbh that's why you never see it in guides or anything. sharks are okay at best, but compared to modern ways of gp-earning.. it just doesn't make sense. ilovecuttingyews
Stiles: A NPC character named Stiles was added to the game in the Slayer Challenges update on 4-21-2010, and will exchange fish for banknotes. He appears to be sitting in a chair fixing a lobster cage, and there are two barrels of fish next to him. He is located on the southern part of Musa Point, almost directly south of the volcano entrance. He can only exchange lobsters, swordfish, and tuna, which are the main fish caught in this area. With lobsters so bloody low why would you use any other food? Especially when F2P (the majority of players) only really have lobs and swordies. Tripple the price for 2 hp extra? No way! 12pure34
Well prices rose due to inflation a tad. But heck, we have SGS / EE / Summoning thingies. PvP tends to be more around brews and less about food nowadays. Cheaper fishes get fished more (Tuna / lob / swordfish) due to F2P notable. Also monkfish / sharks are hardly used now cavefish / rocktail is more used. All overpriced for their use nowadays. So ye, its dropping. Not that I mind, I usually last a month on 500 monkfish. No other fish / food required.
