How did you get into clanning, there are numberous reasons why people got into clanning. Is it from a friend inviting you along to PK trips, kept dying with your small in-game team of friends to big clans? what are your reasons for clanning and staying in clanning all this time.

Saw pictures of massive spam towers from clans and thought that I would try it out. And here I am today... :thumbup:

I started clanning cause I got bored from skilling and crap in general, but it was probably the best decision in my RS career.

Rs classic clans were kinda useless but then Jagex invented multicombat and I just decided to go with the flow...

Just enjoyed getting loot off PK's etc. Then got addicted with clanning so ever since they changed the drop system I still kept on going.. Think I only play to support my clan now =p

I've always watched and looted wars from like 05-06 on a lot of different accounts. Didn't actually join one until 08 though.

It's a pretty funny way how I got in contact with clanning etc.

 

Back in the old days I was wandering around in the wilderness and I got smacked around by 200+ opts (which was the first time I've ever seen that) by TORC, checked some information up about them got in contact with Im4eversmart and a few days later I went with them on a trip which was amazing.

 

When they changed wilderness etc. I quit clanning/pk'ing, a few years later a friend of me introduced me to a clan.

 

Clanning brings a whole new dimention to the game and makes you reach goals you probably would have never reached without the support of your clan or just the fact you did it for the clan itself, pretty much the only reason why I still play RS.

I was invited to join a clan one day and I became addicted to clanning and I've been in clans since. :P

A friend I found through this game, who to this day we are still very close, helped me through my 'noob' days. He bolstered my bank while I trained my skills so I could be self-sufficient. Eventually, he got it in his head to join a clan. Of course I followed him, we were inseparable! Shortly after joining, though, his parents went through a divorce and he quit runescape. I stayed in clans, though, and ever since I've never left.

It had always occurred to me that clanning would be an interesting thing to do, and since I became bored with RS otherwise, I tried it out.

Couldn't think of a better way to give the wild out a try. Loved PKing so was just drawn towards clanning.

Um ..... Like friend recruited me to an official clan while training at spiders =p

Believe it or not, I found out about official clans through clanning at w141. I joined Infinitone's clan chat, gained ranks and then the clan was officialised as what we know today as Legendz. Not going to hide the real truth, no shame in it as it's a different background from where I am today.
