I'd rather just wait for everything to be finished and then I go and do it all on one day.

But then it wouldn't be a Cryptic Clue FEST.

It'd be a Cryptic-get all the items before hand and knock it out in 5 minutes- Clue

Welcome to the world of efficiency.

Jagex doesn't work with efficiency, they're still using Windows 3.0 on their computers.

Fixed. Windows 95 was a beast.

Agreed. Win95 is a man's operating system.

I missed the first one, I wonder if I can get the magnifying glass again? It's probably a long shot though. These events are fun.

Nah, first event was already removed last year.

Do people think of tip.it as being smart or something? I think I'm only slightly above average in clue hunting but make up for it with more determination.

First one was easy. Expect the next to be a bit harder.

Nice to see they are bringing back Magnifying glass to those who didnt get it last year too.

Since we get the book and have to fill it, im going to assume that these are the rewards this time around.

This is an image of your POH Toy Box.

I hope there's a shirt in it too. seems a bit odd to give trousers but no shirt. :S

I have no idea what you're supposed to do for that...

I'll just wait for the answer I guess.

Eww... It's "that" type of maths that I forgot the name of. shouldn't be too hard..

Algebra, thats the name.

I think they [bleep]ed up though. My answer doesn't match the first item at all, I got 12 but there's only 11 supposed items to pick...

Nice that people think this way whenever they see clues like this.

You're way too straightforward - it's not a system of linear equations. You should throw away such thoughts and solve the clue instead. It's easy!

Ok I understood everything up until they started with that calculus bs.

How am I supposed to know this, I haven't even had calculus classes. >.>

You're overthinking it, it's not directly related to mathematical analysis concepts.

You seem too sure, do you any information on how to complete this trial?

Not only that, but both Y and Z are fractionary numbers :?

Yea, i had the same problem =/

But now they changed the equations (everyone knows that jagex is pretty bad at maths)....

For the record, the original equations posted were

Two of Treasure 1: X + (6x6) = 48

Five of Treasure 2: YX + (65/5) = 60

Eight of Treasure 3: 3ZX + 51 = 150
