if this was started i think it would be kinda a missing link between dge and 3bo

i think in this situation skype would make the tipit teams fast

if this was started id be happy to take an admin spot, since i dg avidly, i am fairly experienced at 107 dung (a couple tipiters have higher but im definately up there), and im on dat perm team with ancient and the other pro tipiters =]

id just like to add, that your dung lvl is a good relfection of your dung capabilities, cb or skill lvls dont matter so much, only experience within daemonheim builds fast effective dungers, so i stand by at least 80+

Eh, I don't think dung level is a good reflection.

Some people learn faster than others. Some people choose not to learn.

But I support 80+ nonetheless. Not because it's an experience cutoff or anything.

But because I'm not going to slow down my own dungeoneering experience anymore than I already am when I pick up budding dungeoneers,

by doing larges on floors below 40.

Dungeoneering is a minigame and skill is almost never reflected by level.

Who would be interested in ranks for this cc? If so, please post DG levels

I'm interested but not sure if I got the skills yet. 94 dg and I recently started keying and my best is only around 35 mins. I'm pretty sure I could fit into good teams without problems, but I don't consider myself good enough to really be a "teacher".

Just a slight question for all you dging pros.

When the keyer is doing his keying stuff and haven't run into any gd's for a while, what do the rest of the teammates do? Do they clear out other non-deadend rooms until the next gd (better dungeon bonus)? Or do they skill for the boss (altar, prom ore/bloodragers, chests, morays, creepers, strongpots)? I'm just wondering since you guys mostly rush anyways.

75 dg in f2p, willing to learn everything about pro dung! :) (If I could ever become a member that is.)

The first thing they should do in such situation is to gate doors that aren't gated yet. If there's none, they can start killing boss, farm herbs or mine prome ores for bloodragers etc. Killing non-gd monsters is very low priority imo.

since no ml it is

id say gatedoors > herb> bloodragers > fish > kill random u use more food nd prayer killing nongds than u get back.

pre ml killing nongds was higher priority as deep npc cap verse minor npc cap could be differenc betweeen a 25 and a 50 min dg...

I'd put ragers over herbs. But there should really be a designated bloodrager person and herb person.

I personally am willing to greenlight the making of a single chainbody for someone who both has no bound armor, and intends to solo the boss.

hood safe non gds + prayer flash can be a good return if you know how.

Shall I get the chaotic kiteshield or chaotic maul? The chaotic kiteshield is an amazing shield for rangers as is gives no negative range attack bonus and it's defensive stats are the best in the game right now. The chaotic maul is very accurate and can be fun to duel with, but against heavy metal armor I'll want to be maging anyway.

Maul, use a dfs.

Ffs, this made me crave for a tip it cc even more:

I'm joining this team and offer to key, since leader didn't seem very keen on it. One of the guys is a friend of the other, playing Call of Duty so he's basically useless. I didn't really notice untill pretty late in the dg cause I was busy keying. I'm noticing the guys following me all the time, so I ask them to not do to that. They keep doing that, so I start askign it in a more flaming way. At one point, I finally ask to ggs cause there is a 133 shade attacking me in a puzzle room, and I see one of the guys just continuing killing a zombie in the room next to it (he was following me). At this point I get really mad, they're following me when I don't want to, and they don't come when I want them to. Guess what, those nubs kick me. Being kicked as the keyer, when your dg is nearly done, how freaking sad can it be.

Exactly. And assuming you use it for range vs range, that means you'll be up against Dragon bolts (e) quite often. DFS blocks the specials, whereas CKS does not.

Edit: I say "assuming" because generally people ranging find it unfair in fights with meleers.

Sounds good. Could we pick a non 130+ Ping for our (first) homeworld? All of the people who have founded worlds have so far been European (yes, 117 was once a structured world, not a whirling vortex of chaos and incompetence.)

cc is pro :) needs more people!!

l2dg join it

about dg lvl

imo.....

higher dg = spent more time dging

some people 90-98 i think try hard to be good and get into teams and then once people have a bunch of people they just dg however they feel like..genearlly learning to key

i think 100-110 start to become expireinced keyers so care more about speed ect

and then 110-120 are more for fun and usually pretty exprieinced at keying

thiers kinda a cap on speed if ur doing 20-25 min maps constant thiers not much way u can get much faster no matter what ur dg lvl.

tho a 95 dgneer that got it in 117 is prob worse than a 95 that got it through a coordinated perm team.

I've started making leather armor in dungeons for my hex hunter.

What I've discovered is that you can catch any dino with any tier box!

the only difference is that if you try to catch a tier 10 dino with a tier 1 box, you'll get 2-4 hides per dino instead of 3-5 and you have a greater chance of losing your trap.

But whoopdeedoo lol, that actually doesn't make a difference.

Traps only cost 225 gp from smuggler, and drop in the dozens from monsters.

As for hides, most other players don't resort to this so you won't have a shortage of dinos.

to make the deal even sweeter, you can fletch traps in combat without slowing your combat down if you have appropriate reflexes.

and of course you can set traps without interrupting combat/running either.

as for logs, 225 gp per tier 1 log at start of map from smuggler.

Carrying needle + thread means making armor on the field.

and monsters have chances of dropping logs.

Very worth it for hex hunters, since it increases your damage rate.

you can literally get full leather armor by the boss while doing GDs at the same time.

one problems is that dinos won't go into traps unless you're nearby.

So it might not be worth it unless you set down the trap at the beginning of a GD/puzzle room that happens to have a dino in it.
