RichardG
Hey guys, as the title says this post is about whether or not we as players need another RS toolkit. We already have Swiftkit and Tiko as the major players. Is there room for another? Your thoughts? Visit my Toolscape blog
Jolletzu
No need, rs own client, + mirc with nnscript + gadwin is way better than any of those

RichardG
ask people what? Well a toolkit is all about looking up information on the game. What he described is just a chatroom is it not? Am I confused? Visit my Toolscape blog

Matey
Many IRC channels have bots in that can be used to lookup stats (and provide a lot more useful information). To hell with humanity; The more I see, the less I believe.

pulli23
ask people what? Well a toolkit is all about looking up information on the game. What he described is just a chatroom is it not? Am I confused? You've got the forums, the kbd, and many other places.. The only thing which might help is a dungeoneering toolkit: a toolkit which the whole team would use and then has a handy "minimap" where people can tell important spots (and the minimap is shared by everyone of the team). First they came to fishingand I didn't speak out because I wasn't fishing Then they came to the yewsand I didn't speak out because I didn't cut yews Then they came for the oresand I didn't speak out because I didn't collect ores Then they came for meand there was no one left to speak out for me. Ginger_Warrior
Half true. Nothing on the Tip.It main site explains whether Plank Make is better than String+Hunter Kit, at least it didn't when I was Crew. But I've never used a toolkit (not a proper one anyway) so I wouldn't know if a toolkit would be any better at collating or presenting this information. Honestly though, I don't see what's wrong with just asking people. Nobody knows everything, we all have to ask at some point. | Favourite Game Music | Last.fm | HYT Friend Chat Rules |

Racheya
I don't use any form of toolkit, I never have. If I need help I open a new tab and go to Tip.It. If I need advice I'll come to the forums and ask in H&A. *shrug* I edit for the [Tip.It Times]. I rarely write in [My Blog]. I am an [Ex-Moderator]. Mercifull
I personally don't think we need the current ones so we certainly don't need any other new ones. DiscoShazam
Swiftkit's all I need, lol. GE, Stats, IRC, and IRC bots for everything else that we don't have on the toolkit itself. Oh, and non-supporters of Runescape toolkits: They're just to save space, so you don't need like 24095734980 tabs open for Runescape stuff. And they're good for ease-of-access. If you don't need any of that, then oh well, I guess.
