ruby + arma is WAYYYYYY better than void(no deflector)+diamonds as far as range DPS goes. and karils+barrows+neit has comparable dps to full void melee.

How do you figure that rubies are even remotely better because of the cap, when diamonds are more accurate and can hit nearly the same.

1. recorded xp has consistently been higher w rubies. around 10% higher.

In all of our FFA's when I was using Diamond bolts, I got 1 kill. We all had the same gear. Yeah, rubies are trash right?

Nah, at least 95%. You and Final took a LOT of kills. I missed out on a lot from Diamonds, and depending on our 4th (Grimy/Soma), they lost a lot from tanking.

Ruby need's a spec to hit good, but diamond can hit better non spec while being more accurate. Also when diamond's spec does activate, you can easily hit 400+ sometimes even 450+, your also forgetting about the hp loss from rubies.

Diamonds don't hit that much better non spec than ruby, it's only a +2 ranged strength difference. +105 Diamond to +103 Ruby, IIRC. You're also forgetting Diamond bolt specs can hit terribly low, whereas Ruby specs are nearly always guaranteed to hit 500. (-Zaros stage, where even then, Ruby spec sometimes bypasses the cap)

Virtus mask today, sold for 320m (we split the drop though trusted team).

 

Also a few trips before I started going they got Virtus legs, but Chris did confirm all sets are more common not just the magic, had to get cheapest set :angry:

The only reason you don't believe kills can be that fast are because you haven't done them with melee

I personally only do normal ls but the members on my teams are as good as they come

most of which ive known as clanmates for years. It takes me around 2 minutes to recruit 8 people. We make people bank asap and actually make the last person to bank sol tank so everyones there in under 3 mins lmao

I did 112 kills 8 manning yesterday and im at around 80 atm (today) and its only been 12 hours ( still on for another 7)

I find it hard to believe that an 8 man costs 87.5k/kill. You're looking at 2 ovl doses, brews, restores, bolts, anti/sanfew. Not to mention, tabs for trollheim, key charges...(I know these are minimal, but they add up over time).

Erm, if you're overloading 2 times in an 8 man, you're doin' it wrong. Lol. The team the Toad and myself join, it takes roughly 5 minutes per kill. If our ovls do run out during the kill, it's 3 seconds before she dies.

Sadly, the two best chaotics are the bow and the rapier. Everything else is just "MEH." I bought a CLS a week ago because I didn't think they were going to fix Nex, and I totally regret it. Everything I've tried it at I was disappointed and preferred the rapier. Sucks for dragons, sucks for slayer, sucks for even TDs which is a place many people tout its usefulness. Blah. At least I like DGing.

At tds people say all 3 are comparable depending on style.

The place everyone says Longsword is better is Bandos and saradomin. Although the bandos argument has been taken away with the d defender. Maul is better at Saradomin.

I haven't been to any more than 6 man in about a month, so I'm not completely sure on times for more people on that :lol: But even then, I find 87.5k to be pretty low.
