homer205
If I want to be in DGS and key (not as a rank, just as a regular person), how fast do members expect their keyers to be? I can do 40 minutes occults in w148 with randoms, which probably translates to 35 minutes or so with people that know what they are doing (w148ers, for instance, seem to rarely have surgebox bound, and not know how to prioritize GDs, etc). My fastest is a 31 min abandoned (no dead doors, though a key was missed but I luckily guessed correctly where it was). It's pretty intimidating seeing all the less than 25 minute and sometimes less than 20 minute screenshots posted in this thread, and I don't want to key a floor and then have people mad at me for being too slow. If it matters, I'm 91 dung at the moment. Also, how does one go about actually joining a clan? I never really understood the whole clan camp thing, but I've done a few dungs with you guys as a guest in the chat and really enjoyed it.The 25 minute floors are only expected of ranks, plus they usually have good teams, taking only one or two newbs at a time. As for as people who don't key (regardless of rank) they don't generally complain, and if they do; you can choose not to take them again. My times aren't that great but rarely do people complain to me (40 min average)
Aiel
yeah, the only time ive had anyone complain is when I keyed a 55 minute floor my second time keying. DK drops (solo/LS): 66 hatchets, 14 archer rings, 13 berserker rings, 17 warrior rings, 12 seerculls, 13 mud staves, 7 seers ringsQBD drops: 1 kite, 2 visages, 4 dragonbone kits, 3 effigies, lots of crossbow partsCR vs. CLS threads always turn into discussions about penis size....It's not called a Compensation Longsword for nothing.I've sent a 12k combat mission to have Aiel assassinated (poor bastard isn't even Pincers-tier difficulty). I did a 55 minute with a certain clan member who tried to learn keying, and it didn't matter because I knew he was new. It's good to see new people step up and start learning to key, regardless of how much they suck at first. You'll get better quickly anyway. I_am_Not
It's [bleep]ing stupid to sacrifice efficiency to get a title. Such as, the idiots why waste time trying to get I CAN HAS HEIM CRAB.getting i can has heim crab shouldnt waste any time at allwhen i did it i didn't skip anything but half of the boss due to greens permissioni also cooked heim crabs for myself in downtime and it was still a ~30 min fl so i don't see how i'm an idiot, it was rather fun If you quote me please be sure to note that I'm extremely mad. He brb'd at the start of a floor, so we left him no food except a pile of heim crabs dropped around his character :P. He was also surprisingly good at not wasting time doing it. We've never had a rule pertaining to combat levels, and I've chewed more than one person out for saying things like "47+3 130+ only" in the clan chat. I think you're either misinformed or trolling. homer205
As I understand it, DGS is about teaching tifers to become better at dungoneering. As such, the best methods are expected to be attempted, you don't have to get them right to start, but be working towards it.

Seriously, for really fast floors and sub 20 min average(which is possible) you basically need 2-4 keyers on the floor who all know what they are doing. Below 30 is down to the keyer, below ~25 is down to the team. First to 99 Farming on 27. September, 2005.First to 3766 Port Score on 20. March, 2014.First to 4664 Port Score on 2. March, 2015. Zaaps1
It's going to vary from keyer to keyer, of course, but as a general blanket statement, DGS doesn't particularly care about combat levels as long as you make it work. For example, if you're only 70s in melees, you're going to have a tough time in the dungeons. But I would quite honestly still take you on the team. However, that comes with a condition: you'd have to be just as active as if you were maxed. It's fine if you're a lower combat level, but if you start sitting out of GDs because you don't want to die, THEN it becomes a problem. ~It's Super Effective! Matt_Marche
mostly mis-informed. Although we primarily exist to teach people in the cc, there's a few things that have to be considered; 1. Some of us need to do our high warped floors, these require 110+ dungeoneering. 2. Helping low levels reach chaotics/frost dragons is against our mission statement. 3. After teaching new people how to dungeoneer for multiple floors, it can get very frusturating when people don't want to listen to us. I can usually only handle one abandoned floor with people ignoring me before I need to do a few warped floors with people I know.

Grimy_Bunyip
Attention Ranked Keyers. I'm going to highly recommend that you all start logging all your floors. (all of them, not just the good ones)It'll be useful to have some objective idea of how our Keyers are doing, especially if we intend to grow bigger in the future.Even if you don't care about that, the google doc spreadsheet you'll be using to input your times will have a nifty data filter :DSo please, ranked keyers, start a spreadsheet with the instructions below. And post here with your Spreadsheet Key. You can find the spreadsheet key between the "=" and "&" sign in your link <3.if you are too lazy to send me your spreadsheet key, just send me the entire link to your spreadsheet!.And make sure you make the spreadsheets are public by clicking the share button at the top right.Share -> Change -> Public on Web Here's a picture to help you out: Grimy's DG TimesOpen the link.File -> Make a Copy. (you will need a gmail account for this)Then edit your downloaded file from there.Don't forget to delete my entries. This spreadsheet is for your own key times and only your own. There are two bright green boxes! The second one, put your name in there. The first one, you can put in the name of another player, or of a boss. And the spreadsheet will output your average floor time, and # of floors with said person/boss. Screenshots are important!I HIGHLY RECOMMEND YOU SCREENSHOT YOUR FLOORS FOR TWO REASONS:1- It's easier to screenshot first, then input the data into the spreadsheet later if you're doing a row.2- Proof, should we ever come asking for it. I recommend using some sort of software to speed up the screenshot taking process though, so you can quick end faster. Some people use: Gadwin PrintscreenMu has a Python module that can save images directly from printscreen/clipboard.I personally prefer using AHK code. The script i used is listed below: (do note TIF censored the code, replace "[Caution: Executable File]" with .3x3. only with e's)[spoiler=The following is some AHK code I use to speed up the screenshot taking process] Numlock:: { SendInput {PrintScreen} Run, mspaint[Caution: Executable File], %windir%\system32\,Max sleep 200 WinSet, Top, , Untitled Send ^v sleep 200 Send ^s } return NomenclatureThis spreadsheet requires exact spellings for the average floor time with X script to work.So the nomenclature for bosses is as follows:Warped: Blink Dread Gulega Kalger Gorger HopeOccult: Necro Trio Rune Flesh Thunder GraveAbans: Geo Ballak Forger Horde Bulwark Curse
