Turns out RuneScape Membership Cards have gone up in price again, no idea why. Now some may say "Well they increased the amount of days you get so it's fair". However with the older cards Jagex offered an extra 15 days when using the 90 Day Cards and they now only give an extra 10 days. May 30, 201115 yr Old price:30 days = 26.5 cents/day90 days = 25 cents/day New price:35 days: 28.5 cents/day100 days = 25 cents a day So if you want to get the same amount of money's worth, go for the 100 day package. It's the only of the two that suitably raised its days to match the price. Jagex should have raised it to 37-38 days to match the price increase.
May 30, 201115 yr Sucks for the people who pay via pre-paid card, which is probably a majority of people under 18, I'd say. I'd be surprised if Jagex doesn't eventually go back to the old rates.

June 1, 201115 yr There's going to be a lot of factors in this. Production, shipping, distribution or retail costs might have gone up, or the US dollar might have dropped against the pound. In any case, it's a very small change for one of the two available cards in one country, and it's not even the most popular or cheapest method of gaining membership. In other words, it's not a big deal. This is still an absurdly good value MMO. ~ W ~
