What was the worst thing you were caught doing at school?

Featured Replies

I got caught bringing a knife to school.

Only got 60 hours of community service and 2 weeks OSS.

That sucks dude. My friend brought a knife to school every day and never got caught. I'm pretty sure my teacher saw it too.

I could've been expelled.

My dean liked me and the SRO was willing to forget about the whole thing if I Completed the CS in under a month. Which I did. Wasn't all that bad really.

Bringing a knife to school is just stupid though. Why do it?

Bringing a knife to school is just stupid though. Why do it?

Protection or it could be those cool Swiss Army Knives with a million non-violent uses to them.

Worst I was 'caught' doing was having a nosebleed in class in middle school. Which apparently justified having the vice principal come up to me in the nurse's office to tell me that it's my fault.

What?

I posted it in the last thread. There were two or three people in the administration who seemed to go out of their way to punish me when I was in the 7th grade. I never actually broke any of the school's rules, nor did anything worth posting about.

Yep, I got in so much trouble over absolutely nothing in middle school. One time I was standing quietly in line chatting with my friends, as everyone else was, and my teacher just randomly started yelling at me. When I would ask what I did, she would just say, "You know what you did!" Maybe they should stop hiring nature's little miracles and actually get sentient beings to teach those grades?

It wasn't until high school that I started being a little rascal. And I found a way to get out of anything. Good fight, know-it-all teachers.

You never know when you might need a knife.

Why would he bring a knife to school everyday? I'm kind of skeptical about that one.

The worst thing I did in school was get in a few fights. All of which were started by the other person making fun of me for having tourettes (I know you shouldn't let what people say get to you, but when you're harrassed day after day about something that you have no control over, eventually you get to a breaking point). I almost got away with one of the fights actually. It was in the middle of English class, we were working on some worksheets in groups and the teacher was at his desk not paying much attention. One of the guys in my group would not stop talking [cabbage] about my tic (even though I was doing ALL of the work on the group's worksheet while the others just sat there and laughed about his comments). I finished the worksheet, put my name on it, stood up and went to hand it in. The guy who was making fun of me starts sliding his desk back and forth, so I can't get by him, telling me I'm not going to hand that worksheet in until everyone's names are on it. I told him he had three seconds to get out of my way or he was getting knocked the [bleep] out because I was already pissed off at him. He started laughing so I punched him in the jaw, just below his ear. He fell out of his chair and landed on the floor unconcious. I stepped over his desk, stepped over him, set the paper on the teacher's desk, then went back and sat down in my desk. Finally the teacher looks up and sees the kid on the floor. He asks me what happened and I looked at him and said "I don't know, I didn't see, I was handing in my paper." I sat there and waited about 10 seconds, hoping my lie might have worked, but then the whole class starts yelling that I punched the kid. Got 3 days out of school suspension followed by 5 days in school suspension for that. I told the principal that he was harrassing me for having a medical condition and the guy got one day of in school suspension. Seems fair. That was my junior year I believe.

A stupid fight that occured in the girl's bathroom in Year 10. Some girl just started randomly hating on me so after a week or so of anger we coincedently met in the bathroom and I confronted her.

What's funny is that when my little sister was in Year 10, she got involved in a fight in the same bathroom. Her 'friend' stole some money from our home during an innocent visit and stole some from another friend's home and she wea finally confronted. My little sister is a kind soul though so she tried to be involved as little as possible.

The Year 10 bathrooms are a bad place for us.

I hate having idiots like them in my group because they contribute nothing and expect the full reward. It's even worse when it's an art-related assignment because they hold me back. I've also been in several fights for reasons similar to your's (but a different condition, a mood disorder), but I always kept my fights short and to the point. Oddly, I was rarely punished and the worst I got was a warning.

Never really lost a "fight" at all during my school life. Meh.

I've never seen anyone happy about being called a [bleep]. Usually they are pissed.

Leaving a note on my desk threatening to kill anyone who sat there during study hall. This was back in third grade and it was an empty threat, just didn't want anyone sitting at my desk and stealing my pencil sharpener. Thank god this was many years ago, if that happened now I would probably be suspended/expelled from school and going to counseling.

I [bleep]ing hate those guys. Was he one of those "gangsta" punks?

What ever happened to zero-tolerance policies?

Varies on where you live and go to school. In Kansas, I could bring a pocket knife to school and not get in trouble as long as I dropped it off at the office first thing in the morning (a lot of kids used them around their homes). When I used the bathroom once, my zipper was stuck, so I asked the principal if I could borrow his knife so I could get it out. He lent it to me without saying a word and told me to just keep my mouth shut about it.

Texas was the opposite. They had zero (and I mean ABSOLUTELY ZERO) tolerance for such things. If you got into a fight, they suspended both people without giving two asses about who was right and who was wrong. I'd imagine that bringing a knife to school, even by accident, would warrant an automatic expulsion.
