Finally got my schedule for the semester (I've got nothing but semester courses for now): algebra II (no friends in that class), chemistry (same classroom as freshman year, same friend too, also sitting in the same exact seat as freshman year), food management I & II (one friend in class, apparently my class is responsible for faculty lunch and a thanksgiving feast), and US History II (a class I have to take to graduate, ironically in the same class as my boyfriend).

 

No creative writing yet :'(

 

Btw anybody know a way to memorize the periodic table of elements?

Use the table that they give you. (Seriously, I have probably the first row memorized, all of the alkali metals, most of the alkaline and most of the noble gases/halogens. Those and C, Si, Ag, Al and Zn). Because I like to lord my insanity over others, I'll re post my Junior year schedule (seriously, this is a bad idea, I'm going to crash and burn).

3: AP Art History

4: American Lit. Honors

5: Pre calc

6: French IV (Honors)

7: APUSH (AP US History)

 

EDIT: If I can pull this off flawlessly I'll have a 4.7 GPA for the year. Added on to my 4.0 from last year and 3.8 from 9th grade I should be able to get a 4.17 average for highschool. Which translates to maybe getting into UCLA.

Pssh, I'm in a situation where I'm doubling up on AP Calc and Precalc, but because of schedualing difficulties, I'll have to postpone entering Precalc.

 

Since no one's complaining, I might just be able to sneak past the fact that I actually need precalc to take calc and fit something else in there. And by the time I'm done with the year, I might be scott free if no one takes a look.

My school got my time table wrong, and I think they've done it again!

 

I was going to take another AS as I went into A2, but they said I haven't signed up for it. So I said can I, and they said it's probably full come back later.

 

Sigh, hopefully if I don't get in, it wont effect my chances of going into uni

And there's no other groups or anything like that, you've got all of the other people in your class in all of your classes, apart from gym where there are two other classes there at the same time. It's simple and it works.

Also gym is the only class that we have outside our usual classroom.

You know, I love how the school system works here, you don't sign up for classes, you sign up for a topic and your classes revolve around that. And there's no other groups or anything like that, you've got all of the other people in your class in all of your classes, apart from gym where there are two other classes there at the same time. It's simple and it works.

That is pretty much how British school works until GCSE when you actually begin to pick your subjects (year 10). Even then, in my school you were placed in a group that you take a few of your subjects with.

 

For us it was ICT, RE, PE. The three "enthusiast" groups you could do.

First I would check the fuel pressure to see if there's anything wrong with the fuel lines, then I would check the oil pressure to see if the engines are out of oil, then I would try the ignition if neither show anything wrong, if that fails I would attempt a slight dive while igniting to push-start the engines, should that fail too I would check the distance to the nearest airport and if it is within range hail to request landing or if it is too far perform an emergency landing.
