Kirschen
Couldn't find a thread about discussing Webcomics, so I will just make one. Couldn't think of what forum area to post in, so feel free to move it if its in the incorrect area. Is anyone on TiF in the habit or reading these things on the internet as one of your past times? Lately, I've been into at least four to five webcomics on a daily or weekly basis at the least and figured I will be searching out more later to kill time and amuse myself. Might as well construct some base to help others look for webcomics to dabble into or chat about. So, which ones do you read? Mine: *Homestuck.*Cyanide & Happiness. Black comedy is one of my food group diets.*Scandinavia and the World. A nation antromorphism comic which is about the political views and stereotypes from the views of the author.*Rare Candy Treatment. A Pokemon webcomic which makes fun of the weird things that people think or don't think about.*Gunnerkrigg Court. Only been as far as Chapter 19 since my progress through it has slowed down. *Awkward Zombie.
Guest Rob
xkcd is probably my favorite webcomic. Abtruse Goose, Doghouse Diaries, Cyanide and Happiness and A Softer World are all good too!
Kirschen
How could I forget Xkcd? It's one of my favorite webcomics for its simple style making it easy to be frequent and its mass variety of jokes they use. As for other webcomics I forgot to mention, anyone ever read or have read Order of the Stick by chance?
Dax
Though it never updates, Perry Bible Fellowship is the best. http://pbfcomics.com/ #KERR2016/17/18/19/20/21. #rpgformod
Will H
I love Gunnerkrigg Court, I highly recommend that one. I'll throw in Penny Arcade, Slightly Damned and Goblins in. ~ W ~
Star.
Questionable Content. The first few pages aren't very artistic but the author seriously improves as he/she progresses. This isn't a mindblowing amazing webcomic but it's an okay read. Gunnerkrigg Court. It's just so awesome, the best web comic I've come across. Mythology, action, great character relationships, an intriguing storyline. It has the whole works. I'm annoyed the author only updates Mon, Weds and Fri. It's not enough. Girls With Slingshots. It's hilarious and a funnily inappropriate at times. I think that's all I read. I'm not sure because I haven't read them in a month because I wanted to read many pages at once :P ☢ CAUTION ☢ CAUTION ☢ CAUTION ☢ CAUTION ☢
Randox
I like xkcd when I remember to look. Mostly I read Brawl in the Family which uses characters from Super Smash Bros Brawl.
Will H
...A Softer World are all good too![hide][/hide] I love the concept of six word stories, but they can be brutally powerful. Ouch. ~ W ~
Racheya
I read quite a few webcomics that are more story-oriented than comedy. Hyperbole and a Half is a hilarious comic though. Love it. sohkmj1
Hyperbole and a Half - Although the author hasn't updated it for a very long time.Vgcats - I love the cartoony style which they're drawn in; it's not very special otherwise and is infrequently updated. And as above, I check Cyanide and Happiness daily, and Penny Arcade from time to time. sarg1010
Ctrl+Alt+Del. Quite like it, especially the Hunger Games-esque story he did for Wintereenmas. Was pretty cool . Alg
Order of the Stick. Could not get into Erfworld though. xkcd. Rare Candy Treatment.Nuzlocke Comics.Awkward Zombie. And about a hundred or so pages into Gunnerkrigg Court. Have not read it in a long time though. Nerd humor GO! Giordano
Dark Legacy Comics (DLC) It's a comic set to World of Warcraft, so some might not understand all of it, but I've never laughed at a webcomic like I have to this one. It's so good that someone made a machinima out of one of his comics and got 1st place in the Blizzcon Movie contest. And not to say that particular comic was the best of his work, it simply was his work. I really adore the author for his humor, wit, and creativity. TTanT
-All time favorite: Girly (The art improves drastically as the comic goes on, but the humor in is priceless. And the story ends up being unexpectedly touching. Other good ones:-LFG-Gunnerkrigg Court I read ~ 20 different webcomcis on and off, but the vast majority suck. aspeeder
Most of the ones I read have been mentioned (xkcd, Questionable Content, Least I Could Do, LFG, VG Cats, Perry Bible Fellowship, C&H) but I'll toss if a few more:Dr. McNinja: "In a world where a doctor can also be a ninja, you can expect some things. Little boys with large moustaches, giant lumberjacks, raptor riding banditos, Dracula's moon base... If you like action mixed with comedy and doctors mixed with ninjas, Dr. McNinja is a comic you'll most likely enjoy."Dominic-Deegan: Oracle for Hire: Pretty decent fantasy comic, the main character is a bit Marty-Sueish in the beginning but it gets better and I really enjoy the world and how much it's fleshed out at times.Super Effective: Same guy who does VG Cats so the same humor, just a broad riff on the first generation of Pokemon games. Doesn't have too many pages yet so I love going through it every once in a while. http://i700.photobucket.com/albums/ww6/aspeeder/Siggy_zpsewaiux2t.png 99 Strength since 6/02/10 99 Attack since 9/19/10 99 Constitution since 10/03/10 99 Defense since 3/14/11 99 Slayer since 8/30/11 99 Summoning since 9/10/11 99 Ranged since 09/18/11 99 Magic since 11/12/11 99 Prayer since 11/15/11 99 Herblore since 3/29/12 99 Firemaking since 5/15/12 99 Smithing since 10/04/12 99 Crafting since 9/16/13 99 Agility since 9/23/13 99 Dungeoneering since 1/1/14 99 Fishing since 2/4/14 99 Mining since 2/28/14 99 Farming since 6/04/14 99 Cooking since 6/11/14 99 Runecrafting since 10/10/14 9 Fletching since 11/11/14 99 Thieving since 11/14/14 99 Woodcutting since 11/20/14 99 Construction since 12/03/14 99 Divination since 2/22/15 99 Hunter since 2/23/15 99 Invention since 01/20/17 99 Archaeology since 5/14/22 99 Necromancy since 11/22/25 Quest Point Cape since 08/20/09 Maxed since 2/23/15 Fire Cape since 02/27/13 Slayer: 3 Leaf-Bladed Swords, 8 Black Masks, 2 Hexcrests, 26 Granite Mauls, 5 Focus Sights, 33 Abyssal Whips, 9 Dark Bows, 1 Whip Vine, 3 Staffs of Light, 15 Polypore Sticks Dragon: 10 Draconic Visages, 7 Shield Left Halves, 20 Dragon Boots, 40 Dragon Med Helms, 8 Dragon Platelegs, 6 Dragon Spears, 20 Dragon Daggers, 5 Dragon Plateskirts, 1 Dragon Chainbody, 63 Off-hand Dragon Throwing Axes, 19 Dragon Longswords, 27 Dragon Maces, 1 Dragon Ward Treasure Trails: Saradomin Full Helm, Ranger Boots, Rune Body (t), Saradomin Vambraces, Various God Pages Misc:1 Onyx,1 Ahrim's Hood, 1 Guthan's Chainskirt, 1 Demon Slayer Boots
