Pretty sure Born For Pvm tested it on video, thimk the series was "Born's Believe it or Not" and they carried over then. I'll do a quick search, see if I can find it.

I'm assuming he means he chose not to spin, I have done this in the past and spins never carried over.

From 00:00 (GMT) on Friday the 7th of September until 23:59 (GMT) on Monday the 10th of September, alchemist's amulet fragments can be won in Common slots on the Squeal of Fortune.

 

At any point, you can transform your fragments into an alchemist's amulet. Using just one will grant you 10,000 gold coins and a cosmetic alchemist's amulet. Each additional fragment you use when creating the amulet will double this amount (up to 10 per amulet), so collect as many as you can before you transform them:

 

1 fragment 10,000

2 fragments 20,000

3 fragments 40,000

4 fragments 80,000

5 fragments 160,000

6 fragments 320,000

7 fragments 640,000

8 fragments 1,280,000

9 fragments 2,560,000

10 fragments 5,120,000

 

Combining and then transforming 10 fragments will bag you a huge 5,120,000 gold coins! What's more, it'll also yield a charged alchemist's amulet, which will grant you 10 casts of the High-Level Alchemy spell per day, for free!

It's downright shameful.

 

I know they're (hopefully..) trying to fight pressures from investment groups to go down the route of direct gp selling but this is just...ugh. At least when they get past the promotional week for the Alchemist Amulet they should be back to the rare slots...I think...I hope...

Two days is way more than enough for people to have enough time to buy a lot of spins and use them though. A lot of people will get a lot richer this weekend.

Well, compared to most others around here, I am very little of a hater really. I don't like what Jagex is doing, but I realize that me raging doesn't really do that much. I tried to protest as much as possible when I still believed in that they actually might change it (after the SoF release). I posted on here, I posted on the RSOF and I put forward my arguments as good as I could to why the SoF doesn't belong in RS. So did many other players. Many, many, MANY other players. And nothing happened except a reply from MMG that basically said "We're not selling direct XP/GP, just a chance to get it." Which is true. But they're selling in-game advantage here, clearly, and have done so since SoF was introduced into the game. Since then it have pretty much only got worse. Like many here predicted that it would. This update with these amulets is for sure the most direct way of selling this kind of in-game advantage we have seen this far. Even worse than the fish masks. If you buy 450 spins (the biggest package) now, you can probably get an easy 10M+, as I stated in my previous post. Horrible.

I wish they'd stop dancing around the point. Just start selling Exp pendants through solomon's. Disposable time vs Disposable income. I'd rather have promos and loyalty cosmetic stuff on the wheel than these poorly disguised gold offers.

I don't, because the cosmetic stuff is so stupidly expensive to "buy" from the wheel because it's all so stupid rare. Just remove the stupid SoF and put the outfits in loyalty/solomon >.>

Three things come to mind about this:

 

A) Will they be available to free players as well as members? Most likely they are, as they're in the common spot but it never hurts to ask. :wink:

2) Will they still be available after this weekend is over? As an uncommon or rare prize, perhaps. I'm wondering if I should try to make a fully charged amulet.
