A JMod said on Twitter a few months ago they were looking at adding a farming outfit to Treasure Hunter as it was one of the only skills without an xp boosting outfit.

 

Vinesweeper would be better since that minigame is beyond dead.

Unlock a chest from Friday 9th May 01:00 BST for your chance to grab components and all-important magic beans! Combine each component with your magic beans to create full pieces of the Farming Skill Outfit.

 

There are five parts to the Farming Skill Outfit: farmer's hat, farmer's jacket, farmer's legwear, farmer's cuffs, and farmer's boots. Each part of the Farming Skill Outfit helps you to gain 1% extra XP when farming, plus an extra 1% on top if you have the full outfit!

 

You can also get your magic beans in-game, when farming. For every 200 base XP gained while training, you will be awarded one magic bean!

 

Got some spare beans? Head to the Master Farmer in Draynor Village (near Diango) and use them as currency to buy seeds - including some valuable ones - or a cosmetic weapon in the form of a hoe!

 

Win your outfit components and beans by opening Treasure Hunter chests between Friday 9th May 01:00 BST and Tuesday 13th May 00:59 BST – if you need help converting this to your local time, just click here.

 

All players get at least one Key per day, and RuneScape members get two! You can even earn more through gameplay – just visit the wiki to find out how, or to learn more about Treasure Hunter itself.

You can farm to obtain magic beans to make the outfit, but the required base components are TH exclusive.

Wasted half my bank to get the set. I think it'll save me roughly that amount on my way to 104m XP, since I don't do warbands.

Managed to get 299 beans off TH first spin, then another from picking coconuts.

300 beans to Master Farmer in Draynor for it. You can also buy seeds if you want cash for your beans, since beans aren't tradable.

a few minutes and 21m later I got the base items needed to create the gear with the exception of the one for the torso. I'll get more keys from unfinished quests, thank you very much.

Ive been fortunate to get the hat, top, and bottom as well as some seeds from TH. Im just missing gloves and boots now. Ive been farming like mad today. I should get all my seeds after this tree run.

 

I calculated that from the 1 yew, 1 magic, 1 calquat, 3 palm, and 1 papaya i will recieve 346 magic beans. Ill get the rest from farming herbs.

i've got way too many beans, but i need the last two pieces. no big deal though, they're just gonna end up tossing them in the pool as normal anyway, and this time there isn't a ridiculous exclusive item like the necklace that messes with charm drops

 

sadly the hoe is not an override, and as much as keepsake keys are recommended, it's not like they let you store more than one 2h sword

Reminder that you can trade-in excess beans for seeds and profit.  Right now, Pineapple gives the best trade-in value at 28 beans per seed:
