Guys With Girl Characters...

in lower lvl's and more imature players the gf/bf problems is quite big. go to free world and u see bunch of mid 30's lvl people asking for bf/gf. i think they need real life and real relationship, not pixel one :)

 

True, I switched to a free world yesterday to buy something, and the moment I logged in, some lvl 49 dude was following me, asking to be my boyfriend.

 

 

 

What really bothers me is how these people distort and devalue the idea of a relationship. I mean, can you imagine walking down the street, being trailed by a stranger who keeps repeating "wanna b my gf plz?" It just doesn't work that way. :lol:

Transexuality, Transgender, Intersex and Hermaphroditism are all recognised medical conditions. They're not a lot of fun to have and fixing them is a lot harder than going down to the Makeover Mage and forking out 3K GP. Please don't make jokes about things you know nothing about. There are almost certainly some transexuals who play RS -- but that's not at all relevant to how they play the game.

 

 

 

Lots of people playing RS have characters whose gender isn't the same as their own without being transgendered.

 

 

 

It's a game. Why not create a character who's completely different from yourself just for fun?

 

 

 

Right now my character's got black skin and white hair. IRL, I've got white skin and the little bit of hair I have was red before it started going gray.

 

 

 

Next week my character might be a girl with blue hair. Or maybe not. After I did the Recruitment Drive Quest I hung around as a girl for quite a while before changing back. It was interesting.

 

 

 

If I had the bank space I'd get a frog princess outfit, then change back into a guy just to wear it and watch people's heads go 'splody.

 

 

 

It's a game. The character is just a bunch of pixels you move around, it's not you.

lets see.. I bet 50% of girl characters are actually girls. I only have known 1 acutal girl on rs, and then there is myself. Me personally.. I don't internet date. I've been scared off by all that Myspace junk, and don't ever plan to love someone over a game. Now on the otherhand.. I know someone posing to be a girl. I see the boyfriend always giving 'her' things and helping 'her' out, just because she posed as a girl. That makes me mad.

I witnessed two level 20s+ ask each other out.

 

One of them said lets go somewhere quiter.

 

Me laughing and also intrigued by this followed them, I had Camstudio open at the time hoping to film them acting funny.

 

 

 

They went in one of lumbridge castle's many rooms. I was beside the room.

 

 

 

Unfortunately, they assumed I was on to them and from then on, for around 5 minutes they ran away from me. Mainly because I was pestering them.

 

 

 

Oh well. Also my friend which Is a guy made a girl character and hasnt changed it for 2 years. I was scared when I quit and came back on to ask him his name again. He said it was Kylie instead of Kyle.

I am a girl and I've often considered turning my character male because so many boys (and/or men who've not grown up yet) ask me out or harrass me. Luckily for them I'm not easily offended, it is afterall a game.

 

 

 

While I flirt a little occassionaly - with rs male friends i've known for a long time - I do not have an rs bf... I mean that's really wierd if you ask me, see no point in it. I had guys offer me things to be thier gf before but that creeps me out... besides I do things on my own merit.

 

 

 

My typical answer is to tell them "If you want a gf then get off the computer and go get one".

Not only are rs relationships disgusting in the obvious way but they also disilliousion people about real relationships. The best way to show that you care about a girl is not to give her immense amounts of gifts, that makes her a prostitute, not your girlfriend.

Tell them that. People have wanted to marry me... Tones of people wish to be my bf and i have my own fan club (no joke). Usually they want stuff from me, not theother way round. I usually just tell them that it's sad and they should get a girlfriend in real life not in a game.

Being a girl with a female character, a lot of the way some people act really annoys me. I got followed around for a while by people begging and asking me out - I developed a system of saying no once, then if they didn't leave me alone, blocking and logging out for a min or so (or teleporting if it didn't inconvenience me).

 

 

 

Trick is when people ask if you have a boyfriend, go, "no, I don't. And I'm not looking." That way they give the hint most of the time.

 

 

 

Then my friend got tired of people being being all, "don't you want me?" through my private messaging (despite it being on friends), which creeped me out, so we played along as husband and wife for a while, where he yelled at anybody trying to hit on me. It was odd, but at least people left me alone for a while. ^_^

Well, because I have an "a" on the end of my name, I do get a bunch of people asking me to be their girlfriend. When I tell them I am a guy, they just flip out, call me a noob and report me :lol: :roll:.

I am a male myself. I have a female account. I just wanted to see what it would be like on a female's standpoint in the game. I never play on it much because there are too many males who ask me out. That is why I will never turn my account into the opposite sex...

I have a female account that I play when my daughters are at my house and want to do something together. They get on their accounts, and I get on my female account and we go do whatever together. That way, I get to supervise whats going on in game with them and keep some of the offenders away. Especially when they figure out I'm DAD, not MOM, lol

This happens all the time. Some males just tend to play as females, which is perfectly fine, as long as it makes their Gaming experience enjoyable.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

But I find it awful when males make an Account as a female, just to go around asking male characters for free items, and just to go along with what ever they're saying.

tbh i have a girl character longer then i had my main. i've never done anything close to begging on that account. i was doing recruitment drive then i started getting to carried away to switch back genders. O:)
