Yea, those are some good tracks, I also love the way the record opens with Genesis/Let there be light. :thumbup: The Party and DVNO are great too. Have you seen the documentary Justice Across the Universe? It's a good watch, with a lot of hilarious stuff, and since you must be a fan (looking at your sig) you shouldn't miss it.

I saw a preview of it on their MySpace, I'll have to check it out. I hear they get arrested? :lol:

Yea, they get arrested. Their bus driver is brilliant, and their manager is hilarious. Those two alone justify getting it. ;)

Not a DVD or CD but something which will take a nice spot in my collection...

Today I got a Limited Edition James Bond film cell. 2 frames for each actor, photos & framed. I would have loved if it was signed but unfortunately not, something I can try and work on in the future I suppose. Never-the-less, I have #10 of 100 copies :D

Will get photos tomorrow if I get the chance.

It seems like the Blur frontman can get away with anything. I know plenty of people here hate anything that isn't hard rock/metal, but this is a good album if you are getting started on Gorillaz. Demons Days is pretty good too.

<3: I already watched the documentary itself a few weeks ago (someone put it on Youtube, I figured I'd take advantage of it). But this has the full live set from one of their shows, so it's pretty long. So hourlong documentary and an 18-song-long CD with some 6, 7, and 9 minute long tracks for 15 bucks on iTunes. :D

Just received from Amazon:

DVD

* The Big Lebowski

* Fargo

* Walk the Line

* A Woman Under The Influence

* Koyaanisqatsi/Powaqqatsi

BOOKS

* Coraline by Neil Gaiman

* Cut: Movies in Fifteen Minutes by Cleolinda Jones

* The Half: Photographs of Actors preparing for the Stage

9780571237722.jpg

This is a gorgeous books of photographs of actors in the half hour before they go on stage: applying the last bit of make-up, having stagefright, the moment of concentration before their performance. About every great British actor is included, and a fair bit of American ones as well (amongst many others Anthony Hopkins, Cate Blanchett, Daniel Day Lewis, Judi Dench, John Gielgud, Vanessa Redgrave, Jim Broadbent, Jeremy Irons, Glenda Jackson, Jude Law, Charlotte Rampling, Michael Gambon, Maggie Smith, Martin Sheen, Felicity Kendal, Kevin Spacey, Ralph Fiennes, Sir Ian McKellen, Alan Rickman etc). Some pictures date back 25 years. Just fantastic. It's a present for a friend (who I hope doesn't frequent these boards ::') but it will be hard to part with it. I'm trying not to look into it too much to keep the book fresh, but it's soooo hard.

CD

* Einstein on the Beach by Philip Glass

I'm surprised there is no region 2 Nicholas Ray boxset. I'm disapointed.

Yea, it's pretty hard to get all the Ray stuff. The box thing is because he's released trough so many different studios (warner, universal, sony, fox, mgm and some independants). It still makes me wonder why there's only a Dutch release of Johnny Guitar. Or why Party Girl has only been released in France. While he's one of the greatest American film makers ever, and especially Johnny Guitar is one of the best films ever made. Bigger Than Life got an ecellent BFI Release by the way. So did The Savage Innocents on Masters of Cinema, which is now OOP, maybe you can get it for nice price 2nd hand.

Sumpta: A Woman Under the Influence. :worship: Excellent pick!

Oh, alright. That's the same version here in Holland, then they released it in Europe only. Still strange, since it's a major American film. :P

Let's hope that they release a special edition or something in the future.
