Can you remember your first p2p moments? I can remember mine...

 

 

 

I found a antipoison on the floor and I just stood there for a few minutes thinking 'Omg, I am rich!' as I though it was like uber rare, about as much as a d chain is to me these days. Some guy like 40 levels higher came up to me and just said 'so... there are rubbish', I thought I was rich :lol:

 

 

 

What were your first moments?

Lol, I signed up and a friend showed me how to fletch shafts. He also gave me a casket as a "Happy First Day Of Members" gift. Then we went and started chompy bird hunting, but didn't finish. I finished it like a month later :wink:

My sister and I went out to that man outside falador, and had outrageous fun pickpocketing him for about 30 minutes. Then we went and bought team capes off some guy for 10k each. :lol:

 

 

 

My brother, Mr. Effecient, immediately started chaos crafting. :roll:

i was training on giants, had no school that monday. i logged on a f2p world not knowing i had members, didnt think my money arrived yet. i trained for a while on the giants, then switched worlds and i was like WOAH IMA MEMB0R YAY!. then i told my friend and she gave me full ham :lol: . i wuz so happy.

I went through that gate near fally, got to the other side and said "Double You Tee Eff" because I had some kind of illusion in my head that members would be so different but allas, it was like 3 weeks before I managed to make it over that mountain :lol:

Oddly enough almost as soon as I logged on to p2p there were mithril bars being dropped by someone that started appearing all over the bank I was in. I was surprised by how generous people were on p2p, by the high amount of high levelled people everywhere, and just how much better p2p was.

Went to the party room and got a whip, about 20 mins into members

I went stright to gertrude's and did the cat quest :lol:

 

Then I went and did the sheep herder quest :x

 

Thn i spent 3 hours walking around :D

i wlaked aorund for 4 hours found castle wars, played for 2 hours played gnome ball for 20 minutes lol

My first members moment was back in July 2002. I remember that the first thing I did was to do the Druidic Ritual quest so I could start herblaw lol.

when i first became a member i was still an uber noob, and decided id be fine crossing white wolf mountian(back when there were still lvl 70 wolves) I died there in my first few minutes in p2p. :oops: Neway, thats my first memory

Well it was a warm summer day back in the...whoops wrong story. Welllll i was so happy i was members i started pick pocketing the men and women in lumby. After a long time i was like "wow! this is easy moeny im gonna be rich". Then i though, i can get the awsome and all powerfull addy *echo* hally *echo*. So i ran into varrock screaming "Buying addy hally 50k" well thats it, wasted 50k on an addy hally. It was worth it in a strange way i was so ecstatic and happy. then i trained agil to an awsome 31...

My first day I walked around lost and ummm more lost,. I remember being afraid to cross over the white mountain , so I lived in traverly for a good week till I had the nerve to finally go over it. Get to catherby and I see burnt sharks on the ground, and I wonder to myself if I could catch them looks at fishing level of 50 atm :oops: Get to catherby bank and wanted to go back to varrok where I knew I was safe. Lived in catherby and fished till 68 fish level., now I hit the big time fishing guild here I come. Fished in guild till sharkies made some good $ and ventured the world to shop :lol: Met all new friends and will never go back to free world again.....

I did the Fishing Contest quest, then went to Catherby and fished 1,000 lobsters. :)

Right before I got members I studied every map, quest guide, skill guide, etc. that I could find, digesting enough about members to make someone go crazy :P

 

 

 

I then joined members, and as soon as I got on, I was flamed by a green drag, turned into a nice Starev91 steak. Turned out I had been at level 38 wild where the greens are, and hadnt remembered.

 

 

 

After that I did every quest I could possibly do-my qp went from about 30 to 80 :P

The first thing I did was do Priest in Peril quest...dunno why, just saw it and did it lol.

I took the long journey from Varrok to ardougue and finally, castle wars

 

 

 

castle wars was my first minigame. I had so much fun, but there was a lot of door jam (there used to be doors, not barriers)

Did the herblaw quest. Was so interested in it for some reason :?

i became 14 that day..my friend gave me a quick introduction to members, some quests i should do, and a g maul for b day, i was 50+ attack and str, less than 60

Ahh, my first day of members. What a happy young boy I was, at 13.

 

 

 

I believe it was April 2003 or 2002 when I became a member. I think I played on f2p for a few months, and I was probably about 50 combat.

 

 

 

The thing I had my eyes set on since I saw a man was thieving, a p2p only skill. First thing I was going to do when I got on a members world was going to be thieve like a madman. But before I could do that, something else caught my eye. All of these high levels with rune were using bronze longs and battle axes! I remember this perfectly. I was at fally square, and I remember asking people why they were using bronze weapons to train with on guards (my initial thought was these members are crazy), but then someone showed me a dragon long in a trade, and I was stunned! I never knew an item like that had even existed in runescape. Those of you who played RSC and have owned a dragon long should know what I mean :) .

 

 

 

After that though, I pick pocketed, and found myself with a few herbs which I couldn't identify. I got frustrated with that so I gave up on trying to get up my herblaw, and I had a higher level escort me across White Wolf Mountain so I could access the new members areas.

The first quest i did was druidic ritual. After that i went over white wolf mountain took the long route though. Then i finished off the f2p quests.

I ran first through the Taverly gate, and that was wonderful. :P Then did Druidic Ritual, and went straight back to Varrock to train my fletching to 50.

My first day of members is so clear to me because it was only a month ago.

 

I began by doing lots of quests, including Drudic Ritual and Gertrudes Cat. I explored most of the map and discovered the gnome villages. I quickly came to realise that slayer was my new found favourite skill and I have recently been working hard to raise it to 40.

 

Another thing I remember is my friend giving me a ring of duelling, I quickly decided that the duel arena was far much better fun than Castle Wars...

aaah, the good old first p2p days...I remember it was christmas eve and i made myself an emmy ring, and commited suicide by going into lvl 48 wildy to get a cosmic :P And this wasn't helped by the fact I didn't know for sure i was gonna get p2p (even though I had been bugging my dad the entire of that day...)

 

Then I wake up, I get everyone in my family up so they can open presents. I open them, lots of very nice gifts ( inlcuding a nintendo ds)

 

I open the cards, some money :), and, theres one card left, but i've had one from everybody :? i open it...

Plays on ds for 1 hour, then , my holy computer turns on, members world...im in! w00t! enchants emmy ring...castle wars for the next day of me playing...then, i think, wow, i want one of these huge maul things that i found...OK i want one, teles to duel arena, buys g maul, needs 50 str, back to cw, wanders around, gets lost trains on i think it was mossies...wow! I forgot about member skills, seeeeeeeeeds! and thats pretty much it, did i go on too much? :P
