I have been thinking about this lately. I'm lvl 67 and I have some decent gear though nothing insane. I had someone the other day call me a low level player! Now, I know I don't level as fast as many as I don't get to play very often "little more lately", but I've been a member for almost 2 years and I hardly consider myself a noob.

 

 

 

Any thoughts on this?

they have no life... no friends and feed on insulting others so that they feel all ahppy inside :P

Basicly, the way it works is if someones a lower level than you they're a noob (lower level), and if they're a higher level they have no life and play rs everyday ;)

I think your getting Noob and Low level mixed up. Someone can be low level but that isnt necessarily calling you a noob. Like your case, low level but your not a noob. A noob to me is measured by theyre conduct ingame, and by theyre knowledge of the game. I've seen lvl 100's that were very nooby and lvl 50's that were not.

Low level could be anyone that's lower level than me. But a low level noob could be any noob thats being a noob. Low level newb is any poor guy that needs help and not begging :cry: poor guy.

A low level player is anyone who is lower level than the person that called then that

 

 

 

a noob is someone who can be anywhere from lvl3-126 and act like a child

 

 

 

a newb is someone who is new to the game therefore has little knowledge of it

with how easy runescape is these days, my lil cousin's been playing a month and he doesnt play that much and he is already lvl 50..

I once met a pair of abby slayers lvl 124 and 125 with the lvl 125 calling the other a "noob". That just made my day :).

Anyone lower that 40 attack, str, def, and hp. Or just lower than lvl 46.

I go as far as saying that the combat level isn't even a good measure of someone's levels (and it's definitely not a good measure of one's noobiness).

 

 

 

I'm only level 76 combat, but I keep it low on purpose. I'm quite proud of my 76 Magic, my 70 Herblore, my 66 Farming and my 57 Construction. They're not skyhigh stats, but they're better than many a level 90 combat.

 

 

 

Oh, and I'd add beggar and flamer to your list of noobs.

Well just to point out, I love all the pure skillers out there. They are some of the greatest people that play this game. They may be at lvl 3 but boy are they wise as heck.

I think one of the reasons I lvl so slowly is that I enjoy the game too much. I'm not the kind of person to buy a bunch of things just to lvl. I cut all my own wood to fletch, make my own planks, ect. The only think I buy is weapons, armor, and runes that I can't make yet.

how can you be level 67 if your sig says you're 55?

It's all about the total level. I just saw a level 3 ranked 21st in agility and other 99 skills with over 75M.

I agree. Anything under lvl 70 I would consider a low level.

 

 

 

lvl 70 - lvl 89 is ok, but not all that impressive.

 

 

 

lvl 90 - lvl 99 you have a solid level, but nothing special.

 

 

 

lvl 100 - lvl 110 is where I am and continue to be happy.

 

 

 

lvl 111 on up I would have to say is the promised land.

 

 

 

Thats based on my opinion, its no official guide line or anything.

Sadly... That really does sum it up for most players. :(

I know lol. But the truth is that I'm older, I run a company, and I only get to play an hour or two a week. I don't really mind the low stats as I still consider myself a good player. Plus whenever I lvl it's a big deal for me because it doesn't happen that often. lol.

 

 

 

In the end it's all about the fun you have. I find that even at my lvl I still have a lot of fun. My interest was just peaked by the comment.

well the way i see it you can be at a really low lvl and not be a noob. i'm only a lvl 60 but i dont think i'm a noob. mostly because this is my 3rd acount. so when i comes to knowing about the game i'm not a noob. by lvl maybe i am but thats just what i think
