Ok, We have Lunar of which we don't all know it's power but have got a small grasp on what it can do.

 

 

 

We have normal with slayer dart, tele block and freezing (bind) spells.

 

It also has some healing spells (kind of) like bones to peaches which are a survival technique. known for great tele's around the world.

 

 

 

Then we have ancients. They have the ability to kill someone while freezing them on the spot, sucking out their health and blood. Poisoning there body with poisonous gas, or even cursing their body with evil shadows. Great for killing people and some everyday uses.

I'll go with normal (alch and slayer dart ftw!)

Normals are the only ones I can cast (hopefully ancients will be added to my spell book this evening), but they still appear to be the most practical ones. Teles to everywhere, slayer dart and high alchemy for life!

Plus I think the whole teenage girl thing will end soon (hopefully), because my girlfriend is absolutely in love with him(she is 18), and im beginning to feel threatened by his [Justin Bieber] dashing looks.

I'd go with regular. This new set seems too gimmicky for me.

Hmm.. Depends of what you want..

 

For teleportation it's normal runes..

 

For pking and quick training it would be ancients..

 

For any other thing it would be lunar I guess..:P

normal definately, i couldnt live without the normal teles to everywhere, not to mention the tele to house i cant live without.

 

 

 

im not too keen on the combat spells, but high alchemy is needed, telegrab, the god spells,

 

 

 

the lunar spells look a little... pointless? i think thats the word... i mean baking pies and curing patches, just a waste of runes really, vengeance looks sweet, but i cant cast.

 

 

 

the healing spells only transfer your own hp to another, so its no healing. the teleports, if numerous, are stupid (waterbirth looks cool tho)

 

 

 

ancients i have, but i dont use... ice barrage is the only spell i see useful, and you can rarely use it (im not a pker) and its a waste of runes...

 

 

 

so normal spellbook all the way. i would however, love all the spells at the same time :P:P:P maybe an ancient scroll that lets you change spellbooks from your bank?

I got to say normal is the best around for a little of everything.. Ancients is awsome for some major monster/player ownage..And luner is kinda cool with some nice little helpfull uses...So my vote is for normal magics

i dont play anymore... i think rs is ruined

some of the lunar spells seem really unbalenced. Say you're doing a dag trip with 3 other people. Now with these spells you can probly get there faster, AND share pots with one another. With these spells you'd be able to stay much longer than normaly, and waste less money.

 

 

 

I'll stick with normal for everyday use, then ancients for cw, pc, and pking

Looks like the first made, most useful in almost all ways is Modern.

I'd have to go with Ancients, no new spells can kill my love for the allmighty Ice Burst.

99 Slayer since August 2007.

The only one I can use at the moment. I let my membership run out... gah! >.<

 

 

 

Although that NPC speak would really speed up slayer training. I wouldn't have to walk ALL the way from burthorpe castle basement to Turael to switch a task. Plus at level 83... fertilize soil! No more rotting Pineapples ftw! =D>

 

 

 

But I still vote modern.

We don't rebel to sell it just suits us well, we're the bright young things.

You could always use tele tablets for teleing around the world + portals in your house + then use ancients / lunar :twisted:

Thieving is another skill that simply unlocks things for you

how do the potion shares work? does it use one dose, or all of the doses? the stat restore spell, for example, says up to four people, and im thinking... four doses max to a potion, right? so will it "create" extra doses? or just use them all up at once?

 

 

 

 

 

im still for modern spells, but all of them look nice...
