December 16, 200718 yr Even though we have won our campaign, all the other updates we have been given have assured me that Summoning is going to be members only. If it is, I'll be glad too. If Jagex gives us Summoning, I bet there'll alot less members in this game...and that means less money for Jagex...and that means less updates and less servers. On top of that, the anti-RWT updates are extremely unfortunate. I guess you don't know what you got until it's gone. I'd prefer to have Fletching over Summoning any day. It would at least, even if only small parts of it were made avilable to F2P, give F2P Rangers a better chance at fighting versus melee. Also, since the Chaos Altar access location is in F2P, why not enable F2P to rc them also? This would give F2P Mages a fighting chance also against both Range and Melee, as well as pick up for certain sale deficits I've noticed lately in-game. Also, Agility would be nice to have some small access to in F2P, especially since I have noticed that P2P players' Run Meters have been recharging far faster than a F2P-only player, AND IN F2P WORLDS!!! That kind of thing happening, in itself, is hypocritical to Jagex's Policy for P2P to have no in-game advantages over F2P. And as for one last thing, you're right, some don't know what they have until Jagex starts taking it away. I will miss the ability to actually make a profit on legal trades. Legal and innocent F2P'ers & Legal and innocent P2P'ers should not be losing their ability to gain 10k profit on an item like full rune armor, just for an example. Well, here's to future hopes and looking forward. :? ... Maybe Jagex will do something to cause players to want to come back, like making it 5%+3k difference on trades? If Jagex's Detection Systems are as good as Jagex says they are, they should be still able to catch illegal RWT even with those kind of restraints. (At least, that's my opinion, if not the opinion of many others right along with me.) ~Mr. D. V. Devnull and normally with a cool mind.(Warning: This user can be VERY confusing to some people... December 16, 200718 yr Congrats on the win. I never expected this to happen, but glad it worked for you guys! Though I bet ya summoning will be members no doubt about it, i'm sure Jagex think they've given you guys enough.
December 16, 200718 yr you guys dont deserve the bankspace, nor the duel arena. they need to take f2p out now that they ruined it Watch me on YoutubeCurrent Let's Plays: Kingdom Hearts, Golden SunFuture Let's Plays: Kingdom Hearts Re: Chain of Memories, Golden Sun II: The Lost Age
December 16, 200718 yr wtf? f2p has just as many rights as p2p... i'm a member (or was as of a month ago) but i have really good f2p friends that definitely deserve some updates now and then... if you think jagex needs to take out f2p you got another thing coming P.S.-- congrats on the bank space guys... it isnt much but it helps =] Proud leader of the Race of Elves: http://www.freewebs.com/raceofelves
December 16, 200718 yr you guys dont deserve the bankspace, nor the duel arena. they need to take f2p out now that they ruined it So...Um...Why did Jagex give F2P those things then? (Well, I have to admit...Jagex's intelligence has gone down...) Devnull, I would NOT care at all if F2P was given the ability to make arrows. Maybe up to mithril or something. F2P rangers DO need a little boost. As for RCing chaos runes...Sorry, but I'm against it. On the topic of agility...I've noticed that there IS a pretty big difference. On my F2P pure, it takes forever to recharge energy. I got 6% or something back in 5 minutes. The recharge rate is much faster with agility, even at 42. I'm not sure why Jagex hasn't taken out the effect on F2P worlds already. I hope Jagex IS reading all these suggestions, and has noticed that many people are against their updates. I'm not saying that they completely revert it, but a mix between the old and new, in which RWTs are killed, yet honest players are unharmed, should be possible. I've read many ideas, and quite a few would work. Cenin pân nîd, istan pân nîd, dan nin ú-cenich, nin ú-istach.Ithil luin eria vi menel caran...Tîn dan delu.

December 16, 200718 yr I would like to congratulate all of you for being so strong and working hard to achieve such a feat. You have earned it.

F2P really needs new crossbows , i mean using bronze bolts ??? how good is that ? I wouldn't go so far as 5 quests. A suggestion of mine a while ago was a mega-quest. A quest that would give F2P a lot of the things they wanted. If Jagex was ever to give F2P a new quest, the rewards could be... -The ability to make up to steel arrows. -The ability to buy a beer that makes your energy recharge faster -The ability to buy and use crossbows and bolts up to steel. (No enchantments or tips) And I missed this earlier...Unorclan, how do 395 supporters post in 100 posts? o.0 I think the support list ended at 400 or so. And that was back in the two-digit pages. Ok? :thumbsup: Nice one harrinator, although we may have to brace ourselves for the potential comeback about why they are (in their own minds) superior. It is true, though. F2Ps are vital to RS as they form a large part of the market economy, among other things. In fact, I think this point has actually cropped up on this thread before, as part of the supporting reasons for more bank space :-k ...the point is, it's nice to have the bank space at last. My best skill level, and the one I have highest hopes for.The bank space may have been won, but the battle is not over yet...Seriously, this really should be put into the game. It's that good an idea.
December 18, 200718 yr I know i'm alittle late on posting this, but... Woot! Yeah, we win! That was pretty nice of Jagex, even though they probably just gave it to us to make us happy after changing half the game. December 19, 200718 yr If you think your little protests and everything helped bring 8 more slots around, you are mistaken. Face it, Jagex doesn't listen to those immature enough to protest. December 19, 200718 yr Author If you think your little protests and everything helped bring 8 more slots around, you are mistaken. Face it, Jagex doesn't listen to those immature enough to protest. I highly suspect more bankspace for free players has been on their mind for awhile. A simpleton update like a little more bankspace doesn't linger on a companies mind "for a while". This campaign lasted over a year and a half. You can rest assured that the campaign did play a part in the update. You may not wish to view it that way, but common sense says otherwise. Also please note that this is not the only "protest" that has successfully caused an update to Runescape. ;) [bleep], my parrot has better grammar than you.{Author of Tip.It Times article}{Founder of the F2P Bankspace Campaign}{Interviewed for the Gielinor Tribune}{F2P Bankspace was ACHIEVED!}

True they do deserve some updates such as bank space and new quests. But as for duel arena... well i think that should stay P2P as well we pay for it! They pay nothing so they dont deserve as much as we do but they still deserve a few updates. I mean come on we pay are REAL money so we can have the better fun, sure we still have loads more than they do like skills and quests but we earnt it by giving up are good money. But then again we dont wanna be selfish do we. So im half and half with this :S But yes at least you got some more bank space XD But with new items your gunna need more soon! Keep it up! more bank space for non-members

January 8, 200818 yr Following that logic, you should be cloistered in as small of house as possible, if not a shack made of cardboard. You should eat only enough to not die. January 8, 200818 yr I also think we need even more bank space reply. Hey, I'm as happy as the next person for getting more bank space, but how it that not enough. Seriously...I got by fine before, and 8 more spots should be more than enough. I just use the extra spots now to store amulet moulds and other supplies that I hardly use. :
January 8, 200818 yr Although this update doesn't really mean anything for me(I became a member like a year ago) I am still happy for the update. F2p really needed that little boost. I remember how hard it was to throw out stuff I didn't have room for(I was f2p for like 2 years.). so.... Good job guys! Persistence pays off(at least i like to think it did in this situation). ~Genoraven Rubber chicken, you're the one,who makes Runescape, so much fun!Would be fun if jagex brought in biological warfare... Or even Tesla coils. I like to eat cake while excruciating!
January 9, 200818 yr I also think we need even more bank space reply.The 8 we got is a more than fair compromise. Many of us would have been fine with the finishing of the row, but they also gave us half of the next (which is a little annoying, but greatly appreciated, at least by me).
