PKERS CAN ALL BE DAMNED TO HELL!

Sad to see you go. Goodbye and have fun in life, you shouldnt refer it to 'wasted' since you played the game for fun and you made freinds and had fun... right? so always stay happy :). Bye.

What do you honestly expect to earn from runescape. You are overlooking all the things that really matter. The reason you played runescape was to have fun. Along the way you met people and *gasp* probably learned something! You have personal experiences to show for the time you played runescape for.

Heck, the way I look at it, if I die tomorrow for some reason beyond my control, I had a fun. I never 'wasted time' playing videogames or watching television or whatever. I did it to have fun, otherwise I wouldn't have done it.

You've got to ask yourself, what really matters to you? You could work at target 20 hours a week and have a pretty big nest egg at the end of six months. You might say that you have money to show for the time you put in. You might have even gained some discipline, But it doesn't change a thing. People still won't appreciate it. It might be interesting to them, but they could never appreciate the time you put in. Your time is meaningful to nobody but you. What I'm trying to say is don't disregard it as a waste of time just because no one else appreciates the time you put in. Don't base your actions on what your friends or parents are interested in, do things for yourself.

And as for this game dominating every aspect of your life, all you need to do is develop some self discipline.

Alright I hate saying this but this is the truth. For those people that say they are "just" pixels, that is not pixels...it is hard work. Same way I treat being hacked. Its not the items...I can get them back(hell Ive gotten lots back already) Is the hard work. It is the time...it is the nights playing where the only thing keeping u awake was some coke\coffe or some music playing at rediciously high levels on ur headphones :) . In school I saw this video of these people in africa who only make 3$!!! a month for some god dam hard work. (Cutting trees...making wood and stuff etc...) Now what do they have to show for all they did? It may seem like a measly 3$ but it was a lot of work they did to get it. So before anyone says they are "just pixels" you better seriously rethink what you said and take a look at how you got those pixels in the first place.

Well today after rl issues i decided that i would quit runescape. I realised today that i wasted 9 months of my life here sitting in front my screen waiting for my pixels to grow. Although i have met alot of new people on runescape many whom are my good friends, runescape had become more than it was meant to be. It had manifest into an obbsession and acted as a method for escaping reality. For those TIF viewers i made a thread here and there but it was on tip.it chat where i managed to get the most out of tip.it.

Hopefully today is the last time in a while that i log back on rs and TIF, ill be asking my brother to list tip.it, runescape and various other runescape-related. Well good bye to all those i knew and for those that i didnt i hope you enjoy your time on rs and dont exploit it like i did.

All i have to say is that i REALLY hope i can realise this sometime...its so obvious, but the game keeps sucking me in...i spend 10 hours a day on it! I really want to quit...ever since i came onto tip it, ive cut down on my runescape playing to like an hour a day...im close, and i hope that i cna get away from my obsession too. Good job man

Give me all your stuff.
jerk.......

its sad to see another go but we all leave at ome point or anothr....gl in rl

I'm thinking you don't know axe...

probably the best slayer on these forums... I'm pretty sure he was being sarcastic

Given the ambiguous nature of forums it helps to denote sarcasm, otherwise it just ends up coming off as a complete jerk. <.< Being good at a skill does not make one have manners.

Anyway, sad to see you go aNty but make use of this time now and study hard. That doesn't mean you can't stop by IRC sometimes to catch up though. Best of luck.
