August 31, 200619 yr Lol some people will never understand how to farm no matter how many times you tell them (probably because they don't read the posts) But I hate thieving :P And I live on farm irl and I have no problem farming ingame lol Plus time I spend on rs would only be used watching tv or playing a console game anyway.

August 31, 200619 yr Smithing. I'm serious I don't see the point in smithing. So you can make r00n stuff. So you can kill monsters that drop dragon and Rune. Pointless. Boringest has to be construction IMO. You build something..... whats so exicting about that.

August 31, 200619 yr Construction gets my vote. Yes, it is incredibly useful (gilded altar, tellies, ....), however, and, correct me if I'm wrong, it is the only skill that can't be done for free. Mage is possible by mining ess or pure ess, then rc the necessary runes. In fletching you can use your skills to acquire all the pieces. This is true for melee, range, prayer (graveyard of shadows is slow, but possible and pest control works for 6 of the skills). One might make a case for slayer. Not only does high level slayer require expensive armor and weapons (though the drops more than make up for them), but there is specialized gear (slayer boots, nose plug, bug lantern, etc). Still, these are quite cheap and can be used over and over with few exceptions. Construction is not the same. Even if you woodcut all your logs, the cost to make them into planks is exorbitant. Let's not even talk about the price for a piece of gold leaf (hammer and gold piece anyone?), block of marble, or magic orb (or whatever it is called). Getting construction is a horrific money dump only saved by the potential of using tears of guthix for it. Firemaking is boring, prayer can be tedious or expensive, herblore is time consuming, but construction is a black hole for bank accounts. Yes there are planks for free in the wilderness and at the barbarian outpost, but the time involved is so prohibitive that I find it difficult to even consider.
August 31, 200619 yr well, if you're talking about most boring to consistently train, it would be prayer. No, I am not saying prayer is a bad skill, but you can't train it easily without killing things, or spending a fortune on bones. The least useful skill in my opinion is firemaking. The only good thing with fm is burning of shades, which is connected with prayer =P Skills like herblore, farming, etc are fairly boring to train, but they are extremely useful.
