farming
Farming is way easy. Pay the farmer for trees, and you only have to check them every few hours. I used to hate farming a lot, then I actually tried it.

yah, farming is least boring, because you can just plant something and come back a day later for alot of xp.

pointless - firemaking

boring - agility and mining

hardest - rcing... the xp per rune is a joke for the amount of time it takes... 600k of laws from 54 to 91 is a bit pathetic, anyone agree?

Annoying - Herblore

Worst Skill: Thieving

Most Boring Skill: Either Farming or Thieving.

Worst skill: Thieving

Most boring: Agility

most boring is either agility or farming. The most useless is firemaking (although I dont think this will be true forever, firemaking is long due for a useful update).

farming

lol, not if you do tears of guthix for it :XD:

20-42 farming through tears ftw!

I'll be original and combine both options for the most unneeded skill in the game: Slayer.

While herblore, runecrafting and prayer are the longest skills to train, they are also the most useful skills for anyone, and in some of the harder quests requirements.

Farming, agility and thieving may take long and not as useful yet having these is a very nice convenience, especially with higher level farming which contains farming-only ingredients other skills need such as coconuts.

Firemaking IS a skill, both in the game and in real life. Back when oil lighters didn't exist yet people had to use flint and tinder to ignite a flame on a log, which sometimes took a while without experience on making fire. Yes you guessed it's a survival skill, when a fire isn't available anywhere.

Slayer, on the other hand, is pretty unneeded. Players would pelt me with pebbles for this seeing it's the source of the abbysal whip but the truth is I don't need to grind a skill to be able to kill a monster I can kill already. The rare equipment you say? Shadow warriors are less than level 60 and drop the left shield half and you don't need any slayer level to kill them; only being a member of the Legends Guild.

most boring: agility

worst skill: slayer (i like the skill....i just find it kinda tedious and that it doesnt really have any extensions besides monster drops)

ex. construction helps herblore, magic, combat, time etc....

boring:herblore

annoying:farming

useless:firemaking,slayer,theiving(yeah...i said it)

worst overall:farming,then slayer,then theiving,then firemakin

p.s. agility is FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I shall take my flock underneath my own wing, and kick them right the [bleep] out of the tree. If they were meant to fly, they won't break their necks on the concrete.
So, what is 1.111... equal to?

10/9.

Please don't continue.

Firemaking...I only do it for xp and a higher total lvl

farming

*sigh* another low lvl farmer who is convinced that farming is awful...WRONG! Farming is incredibly profitable with herbs...and its fun if u get the hang of it and get a routine worked out. Most pointless: I'm sorry, i love it, think its fun..but firemaking...just not that much there besides shade burning. Boring: HERBLORE!!!!!!

The most boring is most definitely mining <.< Damn Granite Quarries giving me a migraine (sp)

And the most pointless is firemaking. Its just a drain of money when you don't even use it for anything.

I laugh at everybody saying farming is a bad skill. Made like 10m farming snapdragons and ranarrs.

Why don't I just say which skills I DO like. :)

1. Farming : I'm not very good at it, but it's obviously the best skill ever made.

2. No wait, that's it..

I actually hate all other skills, the only instance in which I like combat is fight pits or castle wars, but I don't like the entire skills.

Cool.

smithing. i spent ages just getting it to 63. and it is a horrible way to make cash. even at 99 smithing, the rune miner makes more than the smither.

I'm quite confused about this nowadays not knowing the street price for rune ores and bars... But you have a point. Smithing has become highly overshadowed and still a hard skill to raise, making even less players training it.

farming and RC are the most boring to me. to much waiting for farming and to much walking around for RC.

Most Useless= Slayer... It's just like "oh look at me, I can kill things!" Sure, items can be introduced through it, but otherwise, it's pretty useless.

I hope that was a joke..

redbullsigortiz.jpg

The only reason people dislike farming is because they either don't understand it or haven't tried it. It really is one of the more interesting skills.

As for the worst... couldn't say. Depends on a number of factors. Some are useless & easy to train (Firemaking). Others are really cool but take much longer to train (Herblore, Slayer). So I guess it depends on personal preference.

Non-PKing Combat ftw. ^_^

Most boring: agility: runiing laps in the wildy and getting PKed by a nitwit who wants to steal my cakes, anti poison and DDS (and getting none of them.... \' )

Most useless: I agree with the majority here: Firemaking. The only use it has is for our brave F2Pers on karamja and adding up in my total level. It shouldn't be a skill in itself.... Adding to its uselessness is that it is boring to train as well, although the woodcutting xp you get from chopping the logs helps the grind to lvl 75 easy up a bit.
