i looked up people my level and most wered not even ranked in the overall highscores, if they had noncombat skills ranked it was thier primary money making skill like wc or mining.

 

 

 

 

 

i think i am pretty good for my level, i think for f2p it is 10 and p2p 13.

For f2p i usually say your total should be at least 10x your combat

There is no ideal total for combat level. Train what you like to train, and don't let other people lead you to believe otherwise. I personally don't see the focus on combat level. I ceased to train combat for about a year and a half now. My combat is only 77, but I have a 1514 total, I just don't like combat simple as.

 

 

 

I would however place most importance on total exp rather than total level.

i like to compare other people at the highscores, who have around the same combat stats/total lvl and i came to the conclusion that my total isnt very good (compared to others with same cb lvl)

well say if ur about lvl 70 that wud make all ur combat stats bout 55, 55 att def str and that prob ur prayer a gud bit lower. So if ur combat stats are 55 and the rest of ur stats are similar then...

Im combat lvl 70 and my total lvl is 1025, i've bn a member for about 2 weeks so aint sure if thats gud or not lol, but i was like 850-900 b4 i became p2p so i was doin well then i suppose.

I'm not the world's greatest skiller, but I'm fairly proud of my non-combat skills. 117 combat and 1713 total as you can probably see in teh sig.

There used to be a thread about this many years ago (ok so it was about 2 years ago, but 'many' sounds cooler).

 

 

 

Basically if you divided your skill total by your combat you'd get a number. I think people decided that if the number was around 10-12 you had a good ratio of skills to combat, but this wouldn't be the same today, because more skills have been released since this calculation was made such as farming and construction, so people these days have higher skill total in general.

I've decided to forget about combat for now, and go for 1450+ total before raising combat

My total was good for my combat level before I stopped playing a lot, but that was during RSC. My skill total now is only like 1480 or something around there with 104 combat. It would be higher if i leveled my farming and other RS2 skills though.

I guess my totals not bad for my combat...And I only have prayer ranked for my combat skills, while almost all of my noncombat skills are ranked. On the other hand, my friend, who started 3 months after me.

I just got 105 combat today after not playing for about 1-2 months.. lol

I've always liked skills over combat, but that new stronghold update was too juicy to pass up the easy combat levels. :P

i have lvl 70 combat with 839 total level in f2p. Im always getting comments on how high my total level is so i guess its above average.

 

 

 

As far as what it should be. Thats up to you. Train what you want to train. Don't worry about what others think your total should be.
