I'm sorry, but there's been too long of a lapse on big updates or any updates at all...

 

Jagex have no obligation to release an update once a week at all anyway. You should be happy that they even update the game once a month. Alot of games aren't.

 

 

 

There have been very little in-game updates, and while the new menu/layout/in gam interface is cool and all, they've been promising us these capes for 1 or 2 months now, not to mention new quests exe.

 

1 or 2 months? It's been a week since they announced that 99 capes were being released, and didn't give a release date at all anyway.

 

 

 

I expect a lot of flame twards Jagex.

 

To be honest you need to grow up. Learn to have some patience, and be grateful of the updates that Jagex do give us.

I like most of the art put in but the flamethrower design and the castle seem that it was a waste including them :? I checked out the new bear and rat wallpaper and I like them both :D I have to say I was expecting the capes too :cry: Oh well, I can wait

Actually, I am sure the child's parents were proud of the Daganoth sculpture to place it on the kitchen counter. And if anyone asks where he got the idea, he can suck it up and say Runescape, or say it was influenced by the Dagonath from the works of H.P. Lovecraft. Either way, he would be right.

You're calling someone who you have never met, and have no idea what their circumstances are, a 'no life', doesn't such much for you.

 

 

 

You're also chatting on a game based forum, how's this any different to making something that is based on a game, both require an amount of time dedicated to a game.

Wow, yet again I find myself loosing interest in this game. Thanks Jagex, all you did for the game this week was tweak a few items so their operate option would work, which is somthing you could have done any week along with any update anyway. I get up at 3 in the morning to use the restroom, and I am so excited because I expect an update to the game I have to check; hopefully capes, but at least somthing like a quest to keep me fairly occupied until they DO come out. What do we get? NOTHING. I'm sorry, but this SUCKS. SO you had the entire development team working on this for a full week? For the love of God. I don't believe half of what they put in the behind the scenes anymore, because they don't even produce 1/4th of it in the month they post it. Very dissapointed in Jagex right now.

First of all, read the sticky in the Official Forums called "Updates" to get an idea of how long it takes to make one. It does not take a week, it takes months.

 

 

 

And two: If you are so disinterested in Runescape, then stop playing. Nobody is forcing you to. You have already exhibited the number one symptom of game addiction. Please help yourself.

And yes, I know it takes months for Jagex to come out with a GAME update. You have the concept stage, the actual programming, bug testing, ect. But somthing like this couldn't have taken months to do.

 

 

 

I just get the feeling more and more when Jagex pomises somthing good in the Behind the Scenes, it is just going to take backseat to other things and get pushed back months and months. Whatever happened to wilderness tag? That was months ago that they promised that. Mabye they should stop doing Behind the Scenes and let everything be a surprise. That would be better IMO, since like I said, most of what they put in it dosen't get released that month.

most that doesnt get released? In fact as far as i remember, the only thing that wasnt released and was mentioned in the Behind the Scenes were wilderness tag. Everything else was released that month or shortly afterwards.

 

 

 

You are flaming Jagex for inefficiency over 1 single update that wasnt released, and you say 'i lost interest because i didnt get the update' or some other rant like that, let me say this : You, me, or jagex for that matter are machines, we make mistakes, and what we promise not come true. YOU NEED TO LEARN that, its a fact of human life. You dont always get what they say, nor do you always get them on time.

I'm sorry if it sounded like I am flaming Jagex, but I have been very frustrated with Jagex lately, for various reasons, not just IMO the lack of content updates lately.

 

 

 

I still stand by my opinion that having Behind the Scenes makes for too much dissapointment. If they didn't make a Behind the Scenes October and then this update came around, everyone would be like 'meh, cool'. And then when capes come they'd be like 'OMG YAAAAY' - appreciate it more. Or they should have at least not outright said they are releasing 99 capes this month - rather, done what they did with PoHs - did they say houses anywhere in that edition of Behind the Scenes? No, indeed they did not. Not nearly as much hype as if they did, and when PLAYER OWNED HOUSES!! was on the frontpage, everyone went nuts.

keep playing the game. Doesn't really spoil my fun one way or the other. I have played many RPG's before and this is by far the most updated with the exception of Total Annihilation. But to be honest most of the units sucked wagon.

I dont know if you noticed, but this game is HUGE.

SO u have 99 in every skill?

 

Do u have full PC?

 

Have you beaten every quest?

 

there are so many things to do that I think that it's pathetic that anyone complains.

 

I honestly believe the only people who can complain are the top people in the game the "no-lifers" who have put so much time into this game that they actually have done everything (or almost everythign) so that they need a new update.

Looks like the next update is going to be a whopper. From the feel of it, it seems they're gonna do the Halloween update, capes and POH update, and rats and bears graphic update all in one shot.

 

 

 

I don't think the POH update is going to get a whole new room. Everyone is saying the "costume room". From what I read in the update, I imagined a new dresser that allows you to store the costumes. I'm also hoping it takes high construction to make it so I can actually make some money off flatbacks of them.
