The reason of the Gunpowder Plot seems to be lost among people these days, so much so, that in my area the local Church (Catholic) hosted a bonfire :roll: PS: The film was awful. But, you're not going to be able to discuss November 5th anymore without a discussion about V for Vendetta, so I guess it is inevitable. Why don't you all like it? The acting was good, the movie flowed very well, the politics didn't really follow the graphic novel, but it was geared more towards today's situation. You don't have to like it, you don't have to agree with the politics of it, but neither of those things should affect wether or not you think the film is good.
