Do you know anybody thats never been p2p that has a p hat? if so post here

A lot of people have been... Just becuase they're F2P and have a phat doesn't make them any different from P2P's that have Phats.

Yes, I've had several friends that have had phats in F2P only, some with phat sets even.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

But after a while (since they played so long) they were bored with F2P, so most, if not all, have converted to members.

Actually, P2Pers have better ways/chances of making enough money to actually buy a p-hat... and it's harder for F2Pers to make tons of cash.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

So yeah, if there was a F2Per who managed to buy a p-hat without cheating, that actually would be something.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

But i'm sure some people have stayed F2P since they p-hats dropped, and maybe have one/a few.

I am sure there are a lot of people. They are f2p items after all. And it is not like there is absolutely no way for a f2p person to get a large amount of money. :P

ON TOPIC:I don't know anyone personally that is F2p and owns a p-hat, but I have seen several.

it was almost his birthday so me and my friends were doing something special

 

 

 

so we all worked hard raised about 5 mil and gave it to him on his

 

 

 

birthday cause he always wanted a party hat.

Yeh, I've heard of a couple people with partyhats in f2p. I met Fhaz in edge when I was still a f2p and he showed me his partyhat set with a cracker to boot. He had kept it since early, near the drops anyways. It's not a rare thing to see. I occasionally go to world 1 behind the wall where people sell od armours and a few show up... mostly trying to merchent off me though. :

Phats haven't always been at the ridiculously high prices they are presently at.

I have 2 Santa Hats, no Party hats, tough...

 

 

 

Currenlty, an f2p who currently doesn't have a party hat or a small amount of other rares has a very small chance of getting a Party Hat.

 

 

 

Unless an f2p was able to pick one up in Runescape (RSC), Or buy one when they were only a few mill, f2p'ers can't get one anymore unless you are a very good merchanters, but even so:

 

 

 

F2p'ers will make money slower while merchanting then members.

 

 

 

And good monster kills tio gain money (like whips) f2p'ers don't have that neither.

 

 

 

I'm f2p, and not complaining. I'm happy :D

 

 

 

Just saying, when an f2p doesn't have one now, the chance is very small he will have one one day...

You have to add in the price inflation #-o

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I've seen one all my life in f2p (well, not counting the times when they were only 10 mill) and it was while the person was smithing. He actually didn't seem to attract too much attention and he was in al kharid.

To my knowledge, the richest person in RS in a f2per.... he has 80+ phats, but he's retired.
