Just bad luck, I say. Last week I got like.. 110 or so, don't remember exactly.. And mind you I have under 200 QP :shock:

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I usually average around 100, almost always between 90 and 110. So I just say it's bad luck :P

But I'm wondering why my bad luck has continued for 2 weeks already? And why others think the game has gotten harder too? Keep in mind, this isn't just 1 or 2 people, but actually several.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

2 weeks ago was when I first maxed my quest points so logically I should get more tears than before? Yet both times I've played with 229 QP, I've gotten under and then barely 100. Before I could easily get 130+ with however many QP I had.

i got my best score ever this week, even though it was only my 4th or 5th time. i got around 90-100 with 174 qp

Since there are also quite a few people who have not experienced bad luck in TOG, I do not think it is reasonable to say that there has in fact been a "hidden update." Just the luck of the water. We all have our "winning streaks" and "losing streaks." You just happen to be on a losing streak, the way I see it :P

Well this is actually the first time I've seen anyone disagree with the bad luck. I was more basing my assumptions upon my previous thread that was dealing with the same matter but everyone had agreed.

 

 

 

Guess maybe it's a losing streak, but only time can tell. Doesn't matter too much though.

Thx for all the replies.. Clearly this has been noticed by more players.. How ever since opinions still differ.. What about the last question in my first post? Could this increased difficulty be activated by a maximum lowest skilllvl or something?? For example: when your lowest lvl reached the lvl of 60, tears becomes 30% harder, and so on?

 

 

 

I havent' checked all skill lvls of posters here, but i still say this is something more than bad luck..

I expect 90+, 130ish is my best so far.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Last 4 trips - the 2 with Quest cape on were lousy - 70ish, the 2 without were round 100 - OK it's probably coincidence, but...

Just finished Eagles peak (full quest points), did tears and got 114 (about average).

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I did get a bit upset a while ago, only got 65 tears or so, but it was a one off.

I went through about 6 weeks where my take was absolutely horrible, all around 40-60 tears (the lowest was 31!). But, the last two weeks have been fine, actually better than fine. 127 and 134 tears. I was wearing my quest cape on the last one (134). It's random variance is all. The random number algorithms used by Jagex do seem to contain "biorythms," though--they seem to range higher for a while then lower for a while, rather than jumping all over. I've noticed this with other randomly generated things too, like hits.

Well, i think i did my best ever today lol. I normally like never do TOG, cus i always forget about it. But today i did it and i got 136 tears \ Ownage :P

well before i used to get around 120+ now i even consider 90+ a good run.... i think they have nerfed it.

I don't have full QP, and I haven't noticed any nerf at all.

hmm doesn't seem much point for jagex to make it harder...i mean its pretty bad exp as it is...obviously its good for skills you don't train but 2k exp a week is hardly amazing

maybe they secretly made it harder that way people cant get a ton of exp since there getting out more quests and quest points? seems harder to me...
