First game you owned?

Featured Replies

I was wondering what games people here started out with. It could be any game that you first played a lot, and I guess you can play a game without actually owning it too.

It isn't the first game I played, but RollerCoaster Tycoon was the first game I had and played quite a lot. Fun times :D

But seriously...I think it was Duck Hunt and Mario on NES.

OH MY GOD. I LOVE YOU. I love that game. Me and My cousin, very avid baseball fans, have spent countless hours doing fantasy drafts and continuing to sim seasons w/o making moves and managing games and rosters.

We are into the management part of that game more than playing. That's why our other favorite game is NFL Head Coach. :P

Crash Bandacoot!! (sp?)

That was an awesome game. I would always play it at my daycare lady's house.

Let's see, I'm trying to decide if i played PC games or gameboy first.

Ehh, I remember saving up a whole $150 for a Game Boy (mine was red and it was still only green-and-black) when I was like 7 (don't ask me how a 7 year old gets 150 bucks), and the first games I got were Kirby's Dreamland and Super Mario Land.

I think I had the PC first though actually. For about 3 or 4 years, I LOVED Duke Nukem 3D. I had Doom, but Duke Nukem was always by far my favorite game ever. I still play it sometimes, hehe. "I like to kick [wagon] and chew bubble gum, and I'm all out of gum."
