My friend has gotten 99 str, attack and HP in about 3 months on PC. In classic it would have taken more than a year.

longer then that.. way longer... maybe if u stayed at axe hut nonstop with super set then you could

theres nothing wrong with being an RS2 product. classic was so stupid, i cant believe i ever played it.

I don't understand how many people get mad at RS2 products. I want to know, right now, how many of your names out there are from rsc?

I never lost any spears to ppl i went with. My internet providers are backstabbing pixel huggers though.

In short, yes it is that bad.

I think people are caring way too much for how other people are playing.

The self-proclaimed king of bronze.

Why the hell do people care what other people do? Worry about yourself.

The point of the "RS2/PC Product" arguement is that those players never had to endure the slowness involved in levelling before RS2/PC. I don't really see the point in blaming someone for not finding the game prior to the RS2 release, and as such never use the phrase "RS2 Product" and don't understand why others do.

SaidinWoT raises an excellent point in that not everyone found the game before RS2 or even PC, many people may use these methods but if someone can level to a high level using any method possible faster than someone that played RSC then fair play, if anything an RSC player in theory had an advantage of being able to train before many people even knew the game existed and, once again, in theory has everything that an 'RS2 product' has to train and obtain a high level before them.

I don't care if anyone calls anyone an RS2/PC product, if they choose to level like that then it is their choice.

What about a mage using Cammy tele then high alch for all their levels, thats depriving them of a lot of Hits xp but you dont get a high alch product being a high mage low health player.

A great deal of the terms being thrown around today are just infantile. I don't use the words PC-product or RS2-product--they're honestly somewhat meaningless to me. Pest Control gave players a quick (albeit boring) device to level combat skills. It may be unfair to those who leveled combat before hand, and many people, including myself, agree it is. But still, intentionally belittling someone because they chose to use the most effective means of gaining combat levels is not only immature, but idiotic. Once again not to play anyone down, but having a high combat level has lost its luster. Attack, defense, and strength have joined the list of skills I am less than impressed to see a 99 in. If you want recognition, level a skill that you believe to be challenging. You can't impress everyone all of the time--so why not just compete against yourself. Go out and get some of the challenging 99's, or those you enjoy. If you maxed out combat before PC, I'm sorry. If you didn't, but you have been playing that long, I would think none the less of you if you chose to do so. But, no matter what you decide, don't patronize those who elect to take advantage of new features.

Why the hell do people care what other people do? Worry about yourself.

I don't care that people use pest control or anything that they do. What does annoy me is that they only had to spend under half the time getting the same levels I got. I'm not annoyed at them, and I encourage levelling the fastest way possible. I'm annoyed at jagex for allowing this to happen, and in turn, allowing such a large group of people to easily attain such high combat levels.

my opinion on this is:

I can see why someone who was lvl 100+ on rsc can get made at someone who spent a month on rs2 getting 100 combat...it took alot more to lvl in RSC...ALOT more time...i dont remember exactly...but i beleive it was about 25K exp max on RSC....now you can easily get 50K xp an hour on RS2...PC has alot to do with this...

I went from 70 attack to 77 in 3 days doing PC...which would normally take about 2-3 weeks if you trained 5-6 hours a day...5 days a week....it just angers alot of people who have spent countless hours getting nice skills...then rs2 comes out (and PC) and they can get maxed combat stats in 4 months.

i sit at the fishing guild...and when someone asks me my fishing lvl...i tell them 87...they tell me its nooby...but they dont know that i got 83 fishing on RSC...when you had to click everytime you wanted to fish...not click...make sure you dont get a random...minimize ur screen...do something else (watch tv...read forums)...click back and you have a half a load of fish...we had to sit there for hours upon hours clicking every 4 seconds...it angers me....this goes with cooking as well..i got 84 cooking on rsc also....back before the "cook X amount" was released...i spent more hours on those 2 skills than most spent on their entire char...yet they sit and call me a noob

What I get annoyed with is that people think of combat level as a sign of maturity. Haven't we all done it? we're chatting and see a level 3 and all of a sudden stop with the wierd short-hand afraid that they don't understand it. If a lvl 3 talks smart and backsasses you for calling him a noob, people get shocked. They immediatly assume "oh this guy's got a main. he wouldn't DARE talk to me like that!" well buddy, he just did and he doesn't necessarily have a main.

About the "product" insults, people have a problem with that. Ever heard of efficiency y'all? Things modernize. They get faster. Progress. Change. Evolve. Whatever you want to call it. You can't expect Jagex to stick to old-fashioned non-efficient training could you? Otherwise, let's go back to the dark ages! Its not fair that those people lived lives far inferior to ours, where there's no modern medicines and electricity and everybody believe crazy theories!!! Would you like it if we went back to those days? Then why should it be so in a game? Playing before PC and RS2 doesn't make you some kind of god who can tell players they are inexperienced. People think that way a bit too much.

tip it would pay me $500.00 to keep my clothes ON :(
But then again, you fail to realize that 101% of the people in this universe hate you. Yes, humankind's hatred against you goes beyond mathematical possibilities.
That tears it. I'm starting an animal rebellion using my mind powers. Those PETA bastards will never see it coming until the porcupines are half way up their asses.

Apparently a lot of people say it. I own.

I disagree with RS2 product, but completely agree with PC product.

I always see people only good at combat, excluding big-mouth pures. Today I even saw a level 126, and my overall is better than his. The only reason he had more experience than me is because every one of his combat stats were 99.

I also every day see level 100s to even 105s who are as dumb as new level 70 players.

to me...thats ironic (i know thats not the word im looking for)...they are both the same thing

the only difference is PC has to do with combat...RS2 has do with all other skills...

dare to explain the difference (besides what i said above)?

you must be one of those people that look at combat as an "age/maturity" difference....which is lame in my opinion...(thanks to rs2)

"i know a lvl 120 but im lvl 116 and im so much smarter than him"..comeon now...

someone who had 70+ herblore in rsc has so much higher respect than soemone with 70+ herblore all from rs2 (with farming and all)

here is what i propose....i want everyone who disagrees with the term "rs2/PC product" to log onto RSC..and try to get at least lvl 70 in any skill...then compare it to RS2...you will relize what WE went through to get our lvls...and to actually put time into the game to get them lvls

i will most likely be flamed for my comments..but then again...75% of RS players started after RS2 was released....RSCers know what im talking about.

I disagree with RS2 product, but completely agree with PC product.

Dumb... define the meaning of the word Dumb of how you wrote that last sentence.

level 100 players call me "dumb" when I'm getting piled at pits and don't put Protect from Melee on. Is there a reason to put prayer on but under my own "code" I never pray against other players no matter what level they are.

ok anyway, I can say that I don't like half the Rs2 Products because they go and call 117s like me, Nerds, geeks just because I've played since the beginning? How would they know I'm an nerd or geek when I hardly play Runescape these days, they probably play more than me... When I look at a player, I would know if they're an Rs2 Product or been playing since Rsc, by their attitude, I can only tell when I'm playing, not on forums.

anyway, Pest Control.... I wish jagex never made that lame program... Its too easy to level, A Player can get lvl 100 in a month just PC. Most that do PC are the pures who want the higher mage, strength, attack etc...

thats where money for jagex comes into play..everyone wants to be the "strongest"...so jagex introduced a way to get to the max combat...giving people a reason to pay for members...to get to those stats as fast as possible...to give them players a reason to keep paying money

jagex = money lovers...but i dont blame them...thats what corperate business do to gain more money

I don't mind both really, but I have some resentment towards RS2 Players who are much better than me, and yet have been playing for less than half the time I started playing this game.

Only time I have problems with RS2 Products is when they open their big mouth at Castle Wars(Only place I ever communicate with people), and say stupid crap like "Omg lvl 111 owned lol!!!!!!" after their love nest piles me with all their boyfriends, AFTER taking out like 2 of their group.

I'd dare say 90% of these people are RS2 Products, because if they started in RSC they must have at least aged or grown up. The rest of the 10% have issues.

I'm more against TIF Products.(;))

Known formerly as Ameoba3000.

Now known as Vigoss.

that oddfaery is such a RS2 product \'

rs2 product- an arrogant high level player who thinks he knows everything, but hasnt even playd rsc(the real runescape)

pc product- a person with a high combat level trained in pc- the easy way out- high levels noob.

First to 99 Farming on 27. September, 2005.

First to 3766 Port Score on 20. March, 2014.

First to 4664 Port Score on 2. March, 2015.

ohhh boy ohhh boy, yeah this should be in the rant section but anyway here goes....

RS2 products i don't really care about, pest controll products on the other hand make me extremely mad. For example; my friend got 72-80 str in one day (granted it was a day we had off from school so he played all day), in that amount of time not doing pc you could not get close to 80 str unless you had like 99 attack.... Now i know many people argue that pc is just a way to use your time wiser (faster exp) but it is also somewhat of a cheap way out. Instead of having to pay for food and such to train with and you actually make a good amount of money from pest control

Getting another sig

[removed]

Pest Control ruined the correlation between high level and maturity.

Generally before PC 99% of people 110+ combat could speak correctly and have good manners. Due to pest control this has fallen to probably around 70% if not less, before I could pretty much assume I could get a decent conversation out of the "higher levels" but now it's just hit and hope.

The only thing about "RS2 Products" I can't stand is the ones who think they know everything. If you tell them that they're wrong they call you a liar. I've been playing for 5 years and I don't know everything about the game so because you've been playing 2 years there's no chance in hell you know everything about the game so stop pretending you do.

I agree 100% =D>

I guess it's your desicion on how you want to level up. I personally like PC and use it to train range. It's extremely helpful as I find range a dull and boring skill (No offence to those who like it).

And I don't get it either when people think of combat levels as a sign of maturity or intelligence. I've seen tons of level 3 skillers who are way nicer and know more about the game than some level 110+. I'm not saying they are all stubborn and have the IQ of the average "played for one month" player, but some are and it angers me. My stats don't reflect it but I've been playing for about 3 years now. Most of the time I'm off doing something fun rather than actually training. I'd rather be doing Pest Control, Castle Wars, or some other minigame. I mean really, this is only a game and no one is going to give you a second look if you are a complete jerk. Even if all of you're combat stats are maxed.

Well that's my two cents. =P

269 QP | All Stats 60+ (except Summoning) | Barrows Drops: 8 | Dragon Drops: 1

No. It all depends on your character. You can be a rs player since the beginning but be a complete jerk, but nobody will like you. You could have started 3 months ago and play pc all the time, but be a really nice person, and people won't harass you.

im gonna hafta disagree with the being a nice person and people wont harrass you part. alot of ppl that play rs are complete morons and harass anyone who is better, worse, or just another player than them.

on topic, being called a rs2 product or pc product aint bad. just start calling people classic products :? . for the pc product its all about training methods. i train mage and melee on my other char with pc and i got me good levels. on my main tho i prefer slayer training because i get slayer lvs too.
