Hi, I'm just interested in your favourite annual celebration, be it Easter, Chinese New Year, your birthday, or an anniversary. There'll probablyl be many religious celebrations so please say what they're for, if they're less wellknown, and what you do then.

 

 

 

My favourite is New Year, because I love that suspense when a house packed full of family and friends starts counting down to midnight. I like staying up late and seeing family but more than that, I like when you know there's a new year coming, somewhere you've never been before, and you never know what good things and bad things it will bring, and how you will react to them.

 

 

 

I usually stay at home or go to a friends house, there's always a big eve party in my groups of friends.

 

 

 

I also kind of like Christmas, because there is a really united feeling everywhere, even though not everyone celebrates it! I love getting the tree, decorating the house, and seeing my family. I usually go to my auntie's house, or my cousins come here. Whichever, I'm happy. :thumbsup:

new years, i just love it because it makes me think. like today, there will never be a 13th of december 2006 ever again. Also for me New Year means New Life, and it means you get to start all over again, turn over a new leaf and try to remember all those birthdays this time :wink:

me it's new years because I can get durnk of butt off but, the price is a nasty hangover at the end

Er... I like Christmas and New Years only because we don't have school.

My birthday, duh, isn't it obvious? No I like New Year's 'coz that's the only day my parents give me permission to stay up later and drink and smoke in their presence.

I don't really like the day of celebration but I like the Christmas season. Everyone wants to be with people they love and nobody wants to be alone. So much fun :

christmas this year because i'm getting world of wacraft.

New years eve.

Christmas, but new years is good aswell due to fireworks at the harbour bridge (Sydney), it's really good to watch.

I'd say Christmas. I love the build up to it, all the festive stuff and families getting together to eat the king of all roast meals. And you still have boxing day and new year's to look forward to as well, so Christmas is a great time of the year.
