Yea I bet people would, i'm one of "the anoying ones".

I find it easy to go to anther place, quite, to do my skills with my skill cape! Any noob that asks me, I tell them to leave or they can be muted, even if I shouldn't be muting for that. :P

coming from someone who doesn't even have a 90... You really don't understand how annoying it is till you have a cape.... I'm usually wearing my while doin slayer.. I'm not gonna stop killin monsters to do a cape emote for someone thats really annoying .. Or like when i had my hp cape on wc why should i stop wc to do an emote for someone that doesn't ask polite enough..... Its seriously annoying and i have all right to wear my skills capes since i trained so hard to get em.

Why are you wearing your cape if you're not willing to show others the emote? That makes little sense to me.

If I'm wearing my QP cape, I don't mind showing the emote. But it can get annoying, so I just take it off and wear somethings else sometimes if I'm training hard.

I am more than happy to do an emote for someone that is polite in the way they ask for it. I won't however do my emote at PC which is where I spend all of my time now because it would hurt the team. I don't see how people think that I have to show them the emote just because I wear a cape. Take smithing for example, I worked months on it heck dare I say years to get it up. Can I not just be proud of my accomplishment and wear a cape that only 392 people have or do I have to dance literally every minute. Coincidently I made my sig a few days after getting my second 99 cape.

Because you can't go anywhere without some twonk following you and saying "do emote". After it happens about 50 times a day you don't want to do it anymore. Yes the cape is for showing off, so WEAR the cape to show off now do the emote. Get a cape before you complain.

It's your choice to wear it. If you hate being asked, you can simply TAKE IT OFF

fully agree, i had recently got 99 hunting and have been wearing the cape constantly, but i do sometimes get annoyed getting asked to do the emote 700 times a day

Then don't wear your cape. As I said earlier, it's like walking around with a five foot trophy yet being agitated when people ask you what it's for. If you don't want people to ask you to do the emote, then don't wear the cape. Really. Is it so hard to understand?

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Oh, and for the record, I think that people should look others up before sticking their foots in their mouths. I have four skill capes.

thanks eli.. yes it is quite annoying especially since i only wear my cape to train melee.. I am not goin to stop killin a monster to do an emote.. Waste of my time.. Seriously if you don't have a cape you really shouldn't be discussing this simply bc you don't know how annoying it really can be..
