2001, joining when the game first began, plus the sense of discovery was tenfold what it is today, since everything hadn't already been done by someone else, good times...

'03. Back in RSC when the community was a lot friendler. Rares were cheaper :P (Traded my drag med for a red phat on RSC once...) just an overall more enjoyable game in some aspects.

2001-2003, the low population of players during the day and night.

Anytime Pre-RS2. PKing was the best :)

Never played rsc too too much so i wouldn't know about then, but pre-msb nerf or pre-whip pking was always alot of fun.

well it was the best when i first started and everything was new and everytime i played i saw something new and i ventured somewhere new so i say late 2004 early 2005

2004 is when I joined.. but I wish I was around in 2003 for the scythe and bunny ears.

the year phats came out for obvious reasons :wink: and unobvious reasons like it was meant to be a much closer and friendly community

2001-2004, but if I had to choose I'd choose early 2003. 2001 was great for me, the game was new and I have a lot of memories, in 2002 I was number 1 in fishing and I had a lot of fame. In 2003 this forum owned and I had all the friends in the world

2005 was hawt :o Hats and Scarves, Zombie Heads the rubber chicken and more :D

early 2005 had me growing, i lost the rubber chicken due to a break, but managed to get all the othe events, all the way to today, people were mature ten, but now...well...crap! :-#

2001, the year i started :-w

2003 was a good year. The autoers weren't a big problem and Santa Hats only cost 200-500k. Boy I miss those days. If you saw a low level woodcutter wearing a Santa hat, that was me ;)

I was new and every time i'd go on i would learn heaps of stuff.

2002 when phats came out (dang i wasnt there at the time :evil: )

2001 -2004 low price of rares, less rule breakers.

Even though I've been around since '04, '06 was definitely my Favorite year. I spent time here on the forums, learned so much more about the game, and bettered myself because of it.

I started in 2004, so I would say that was the best year, community wise, that I was around for.

Well, any RSC days were good. Less cheaters and not to mention more fun. I found that the graphics in a way I liked more than RS2, maybe because I was used to them. I dont know but all I can say mith and addy looked sweet back then :shock:

2001-2002. simpler times for me.

2005, ahh good times. That's when I started, and back then the community was still good, I'm sure it was even better before it, but back then I could walk up to the furnace and ask someone to make me some iron bars, (because I couldn't smith iron lol) and not worry about getting scammed. Also when I first started I could be proud of myself because of my shiny new iron longsword, now I'll only be satisfied with a party hat set, all the barrows sets, 85 slayer, 94 magic, 76 fishing, 80 cooking, full dragon, a santa hat, 91 runecrafting, and a fire cape.
