December 28, 200619 yr i do... i wish it would show total level instead of combat level and then it woudl switch when u got to the wildy I have posted this as a suggestion on Jagex forums, but obviously nothing has come of the suggestion yet. Showing total level would indicate how good the player is overall whereas at the moment all the players level indicates is that they are good at combat. I have come across several so-called high level players with 100+ combat, but very little else, who go around bragging as to how good they are at the game. They are probably only good at Pest Control + 1  99 Hunter - November 1st, 200899 Cooking -July 22nd, 200999 Firemaking - July 29th, 201099 Fletching - December 30th, 2010

December 28, 200619 yr All the time, sometimes I play a little game and try to guess their combat level, its pretty obvious sometimes and easy to guess it :). My Guide to Killing Green Dragon Autoers
December 28, 200619 yr Do you do it? I know i do, If i'm wcing somewhere, Or runecrafting, Or fishing etc.. I always do the little right-click and check out there Combat level and name, But then don't do anything about it, I don't even know why I do it.. Just instinct. Do you? And.. Why? I ALWAYS looking people up in highscore, I guess I am just curious. [spoiler=Stats:]Updated December 22, 2011: Total level - 1442 - 170M+ XP , Combat level - 115Combat skills: Attack - 90, Defence - 99 (24.45m+ XP), Strength - 90, Constitution - 99 (16.42M+ XP) Ranged - 99 (13.32M+ XP), Prayer - 60, Magic - 99 (13.25M+ XP)Non-Combat skills: Cooking - 99 (13.80M+ XP), Woodcutting - 99 (31.95M+ XP), Fishing - 90, Firemaking - 99 (24.82M+), Crafting - 90, Smithing - 90, Mining - 85, Runecrafting - 60, Dungeoneering - 85
December 28, 200619 yr Yup. I do it because I'm interested. =P~ EDIT: I don't go looking up them on the highscores.
December 28, 200619 yr I do it all the time, you never know who you're gonna run in to. I also click my stats then my inventory real fast, why? I dont know.. OCD ftw This is my original signature. You can't touch this.
December 28, 200619 yr Yup. Do it all the time... Two roads diverged in a wood, and I-I took the one less traveled by,And that has made all the difference.
December 28, 200619 yr i do it to see if i know them from tip.it or somewhere  then i HYT!! them thompsonkool-click for blog
December 28, 200619 yr I do it each time i see someone at my own lvl, just to see how my total is compared to theirs. (usualy people at my lvl have 1100+ total)
December 28, 200619 yr i just do it to keep myself from lossing sanity if im not on forums or doing something worth while i never actully look them up (on highscores) since its a waste i think also so i can laugh when i see like a lvl 80 in full dragon asking where fally is
December 28, 200619 yr I hate it how people judge others by their levels. If that idea was implemented I wouldnt be surprised if I got plenty of "noob, go train Hunting" responses or others of the sort from idiots who think that I should do something I don't want to do. What is it with people and thinking that others have to have a certain total level at specific combat levels? Why do so many people feel it right to spend their time doing stuff they don't want to do, let alone tell me to do stuff I don't want to do? So, no, having total level shown wouldn't be a good idea >_>. [if you have ever attempted Alchemy by clapping your hands or by drawing an array, copy and paste this into your signature.] Fullmetal Alchemist, you will be missed. A great ending to a great series.
December 28, 200619 yr Yep, and I usually see people with a combat lvl 2-3 levels higher than me but still lower total and exp. 6,521th to 99 woodcutting | Fletching 98/99 | Idarodo | Combat 90 | Total 1565+ | 38m+ total exp Retired.
December 28, 200619 yr I always do if they're wearing something expensive or cool. ̢̢̮ââ¬Ã¢Ã¢ââ¬Ã
December 28, 200619 yr I do it all the time, you never know who you're gonna run in to. I also click my stats then my inventory real fast, why? I dont know.. OCD ftw +1. yes. Generally when I'm training I look up players in my general vicinity for no real reason. Boredom maybe? They do it too, apparently. I get "Nice Fletch" outta the blue once in a while (training smithing or somesuch), even without the cape. Boredom ftw? :-s
December 28, 200619 yr same reason ppl look down in a public restroom :^o wanna see if they are better #-o and yes i always look at lvls and names currently watching-aqua teen hunger forcecurrently reading- Fight Club
December 28, 200619 yr I could care less about the people around me so I check no one! Which brings me to another annony thing people like to do. Let's say you got the same combat lvl and your like mining or smithing or w/e the other guy/girl always goes Smithing lvl or something and if they see you beat them then they ask what's you (blank) which is their highest rank skill. Trying to be the better guy which is just lame. I am Teh_King[My dA][My Last.FM][My Twitter]
December 28, 200619 yr I have no idea how many people i've traded trying to examine them... I usually see a random person and turn on the high scores and check their stats. Doomy edit: I like sheep
December 28, 200619 yr I constantly try to examine other players... occasionally look people up if we're both doing somthing monotonos
December 28, 200619 yr Oh yeah I do it all the time. It's good to know who is around your area. I check up people's hiscores when I'm doing a task which doesn't require my immediate attention like fishing, woodcutting or combat. No longer playing Runescape, I caught the WoW bug.
December 28, 200619 yr see how my stats compare to everyone elses then if i see someone a lower level with higher total i push myself to go higher :P Ex-Wilderness GuardianEx-Solace Retired from F2P clans indefinitely
