Zygimantas
i do... i wish it would show total level instead of combat level and then it woudl switch when u got to the wildy I have posted this as a suggestion on Jagex forums, but obviously nothing has come of the suggestion yet. Showing total level would indicate how good the player is overall whereas at the moment all the players level indicates is that they are good at combat. I have come across several so-called high level players with 100+ combat, but very little else, who go around bragging as to how good they are at the game. They are probably only good at Pest Control + 1  99 Hunter - November 1st, 200899 Cooking -July 22nd, 200999 Firemaking - July 29th, 201099 Fletching - December 30th, 2010

Rebdragon
I hate it how people judge others by their levels. If that idea was implemented I wouldnt be surprised if I got plenty of "noob, go train Hunting" responses or others of the sort from idiots who think that I should do something I don't want to do. What is it with people and thinking that others have to have a certain total level at specific combat levels? Why do so many people feel it right to spend their time doing stuff they don't want to do, let alone tell me to do stuff I don't want to do? So, no, having total level shown wouldn't be a good idea >_>. [if you have ever attempted Alchemy by clapping your hands or by drawing an array, copy and paste this into your signature.] Fullmetal Alchemist, you will be missed. A great ending to a great series. OCD ftw +1. yes. Generally when I'm training I look up players in my general vicinity for no real reason. Boredom maybe? They do it too, apparently. I get "Nice Fletch" outta the blue once in a while (training smithing or somesuch), even without the cape. Boredom ftw? :-s

Latinoking
I could care less about the people around me so I check no one! Which brings me to another annony thing people like to do. Let's say you got the same combat lvl and your like mining or smithing or w/e the other guy/girl always goes Smithing lvl or something and if they see you beat them then they ask what's you (blank) which is their highest rank skill. Trying to be the better guy which is just lame. I am Teh_King[My dA][My Last.FM][My Twitter]
doomy
I have no idea how many people i've traded trying to examine them... I usually see a random person and turn on the high scores and check their stats. Doomy edit: I like sheep

Umega
Oh yeah I do it all the time. It's good to know who is around your area. I check up people's hiscores when I'm doing a task which doesn't require my immediate attention like fishing, woodcutting or combat. No longer playing Runescape, I caught the WoW bug.
