Do you report your friends?

Featured Replies

Only if they do something that directly affects me then I would.

I do report friends, but not friends irl, I couldn't really give one if I lose a friend on the internet.

In time we hate that which we often fear-William Shakespeare

No, unless he scammed me, asked for my pass, or macroed.

We tried using an abyssal whip to 'suggest' they work faster
Bug Abuse- Not even close

Scam- Yes

Selling for irl stuff- Not even close

My friends are my friends.

it depends. If it causes me to lose stuff than Yes. But if it doesn't than no. My reasonining: why destroy a good relationship by getting a friend bannded?

no for anything that wont effect me? such as anything besides taking my stuff. just no.

It depends really on who and what it is. (For this post, Friend is anyone who I'd count as a real friend, normally someone I know IRL or off of Runescape, and "Friend" refers to anyone else on my friends list.)

I would not report my friends for swearing, but "friends", spelling around the censor constanty (not like once or twice, but when it comes to every other post is a swear) would end up with a report.

I would report anyone for real life trading, no matter what.

I would probably report anyone for bug abuse, but it really depends on the bug. Something like the one with the Rouge's den bug recently, no, but if it's something like an item dupe, they'd be reported.

I would report someone for account sharing in certain conditions, but not if it's like a brother/friend when you're nearby.

Telling them I'd reported them? No. The report abuse system is anonymous for a reason.

Fortunately, I've only had to report one "friend", and never had any reason to even report another. And that friend was immediatly added to ignore, permanatly, because he was intentionally cursing directly at me.

RuneSlayer - For all your RuneScape needs.

I've got to the point where I don't report anyone anymore.

only for really bad things, like macroing, buying stuff for rl cash, scamming. but for offensive language i wouldn't dream of reporting them. because i mean most of the time when we swear its at someone else, or for a joke.

If I were to be scammed by a friend... I probably wouldn't allow it because I don't allow people to wear my items or something unless they're in irl friend that I can easily pummel... Hehe :)

But if a friend started doing some illegal, I would flat out tell them that they shouldn't be doing whatever it is, and really discourage it, if they continued, maybe even ignore them. If they weren't really a friend, just someone on my list that I never talk to, I'd kindly report them :) lol.

But I can't report my friends that I talk to all the time, unless it's really bad.

only if they scammed me

Doomy edit: I like sheep

I never report my friends unless it wasn't really a true friend...maybe just someone I added because there in my clans ally and we went on a pk trip.

If you're willing to report a friend, then you are NOT friends. So it's kind of a non-question really.

I would not report my best rs friends if they:

Hacked my account

Took all my money

Scammed me out of my rares

Truly insulted me

I would still want to be their friend even if they took my money.

NO!

Ooooo you're gonna get trampled on something rotten by a LOT of people if that follows over to rl.

To be honest, yes, I think if they're willing to break the rules, then they're not real friends. simple as that. O:)

I would report anyone who breaks the rules, whether it's a friend or not. I wouldn't want my friend to continue his/her mistake and get over with it. It's not good for him/her, and I wouldn't feel good about letting him/her off either.

Like most of people said , only if they scammed me or did something bad to my account , not friends anymore so i would feel free to report them.
