I once saw Red/Blue Castlewars Armor around the time I was level 20, and the guy who had it told me I could make it by using Red and Blue Dye on Steel Armor, and I actually tried it :XD:

when i first switched over to rs2 from rsc(when rs2 first came out,and our chars were switched,i wasnt planning on doing it but i did cuz my m8s did)and when i logged on to rs2 for the 1st time and i saw someone doing super heat and i was like what the heck is that and he said oh its a new spell, Sun Grab, i was like holy crep lol thats awesome(of course a few days later i figured out he was lying lol)oh and i didnt know wut it was cause they changed the spell actions lol i was like lvl90 atm lol.

Thinking that Blue and Red Cwars armor was Trimmed Dragon, lol. I was lvl 15 at the time, can you blame me? :D

I was told that there was a 1 in 100 chance that the Barrow Brothers drop a barrow item... 500 kills later, still no item grrrrr ;)

I was doing the elemental workshop I quest, killing earth elementals to raise my combat some, when a strange plant random started growing. I had never seen this random in my newbie existance, so I didn't know what to do.

 

 

 

Lucky for me, there was another player training and he knew what to do: he told me to not pick the fruit, since it would give me a lot of herbs in my inventory once fully grown. We had been nicely chatting a bit before that, I didn't really have a reason to doubt him. So, of course the plant fully grew, poison hit me and I had to run out of the area to get an anti-pot. It nearly killed me as well :(

yeah same here. Except I said it as I was running out of varrock. I don't think anyone took any notice. And I didn't want to change. Who would wanna hack a poor noob anyway?

nothing, back when I was new in 2001, there wasnt much scamming or lying.

Back in RSC, there was a rumor that on a members server, this one guy in varrock would sell a red partyhat that only showed up every 8 hours (the icon would only show up every 8 hours too they said). I wasted a good 3 hours before leaving out of boredom.
