what should i wear during end battle because i nearly died at the end wearing proselyte
The way I did it, I used just full rune and an obby shield. If you're nearly dying, kill the spawns that you're not protecting against before you do anything else. Save your specials for them, call them rude names, ANYTHING, just get rid of them.

It started off good with the maze but then... It was over. Too short and any monkey with 37 prayer and 60+ defence could do it.

Plus I think the whole teenage girl thing will end soon (hopefully), because my girlfriend is absolutely in love with him(she is 18), and im beginning to feel threatened by his [Justin Bieber] dashing looks.

That quest was painfully easy. Here's a guide for it right now just to show you how easy it was.

Talk to high priest and listen to all his ramblings, then go talk to the guy near the temple to the ne of the city, go down the trapdoor, then go down the next trapdoor, then go find the first any ladder, turn pro mage + steel skin on before you go down, RUN all the way to the southwest, go up the ladder, go the the ladder directly north, check the body, talk to girl, tele to al karid and talk to osman, meet him outside of the city, tell him about the passage, do the maze again, turn on pro melee and own the boss, pick up dagger, talk to high priest again.. DONE. Not the most detailed guide but you could probally do the quest with it - as long as you remember to bring armor + weapon, food, light source and tinderbox, and a tele, mabye pray + super pots, you're fine.

The quest is insanely easy, and could probably be easily done by anyone from level 80 upwards. *SPOILER* Here's a quick guide for reference:

Equipment: Melee armour (w/ range shield for preference), weapons (ddp++ & whip will handle it easily) lantern (pref. Bullseye, if not take tinderbox), prayer pots, super set and escape tele. A charged glory is handy.

1) Talk to High Priest in Sophanem.

2) Go to north east corner of Sophanem and talk to Kef (forgot his name already, think that's it)

3) Go down into dungeon using ladder in temple.

4) You now have two options: the quick (But dangerous) way or the slow (but safer, and requires high agility/thieving) way.

Quick: Head through the tunnels east, avoiding the [bleep]es and praying mage as you run past the mage. Go down the ladder. You'll now be in a very dangerous sublevel. Immediately run north while praying mage and eating when necessary, curving round the other room and aiming for the ladder northeastmost in the room you're in. Once you're up, go to the ladder immediately south (avoiding the wall crushers).

Slow: From your descent into the dungeon, head north and west and search the lines in the floor you come across to pass the trap. From here, your goal is to reach the most northeasterly-but-one ladder mentioned above. The precise directions are complex, but note that the only enemies you have to pass by are two mages next to each other. Avoid all other passages containing enemies and you should be fine. Go down the ladder when you get to it.

Both: Now follow the tunnel east, search kaleef's body, read the note, and talk to Maisa. Tele to Al-Kharid. Talk to Osman. Tell him "It'll drive a wedge between the cities" Go back to the gate of Sophanem, and talk to Osman. Tell him about the secret passage.

Head back down the dungeon to the most northeasterly-but-one ladder. Go as far south in the tunnels as you can, and then drink your pots and put on prot melee. Unleash your DDP++ specials on the boss, and then start whipping it. Three enemies will spawn in turn: melee, mage and then range. Since you're praying melee, ignore the first one but as soon as others show up KILL THEM IMMEDIATELY. They're only lvl 66, so they should die easily. Continue whipping the boss until it dies, then pick up the dagger and head back to the High Priest.

High level, my bottom.

Maybe it's me, but I realy can't find the stuff you're talking about. when I enter that dangerous sublevel I'm like already at the most north part of the dungeon? I did go to a most north east lader, then all the way south, avoiding wall crushers, but I just got back into that sublevel when taking the ladder? I don't find any corpse with a note or whatever.

I think you messed up with south/north and west/east

Questions:

Can the experience lamps you get be used on range or mage?

Has anyone tried the new weapon on kalphites yet? How does it hit?

Are the new monsters worth training on? Whats on the drop lists?

A circus in Runescape?? Oh my.

Umm, no. I think you missed the bit where I said 'most northeasterly-but-one'. At the north east of the maze is the ladder you seem to have gone down, but if you look directly south of it on the minimap you'll see the ladder you should have gone down.

Just tried out the monsters; pretty terrible TBH. They all appear to have the same drops which include:

Gems - so probally half keys and left halves; but lots of monsters have that, 15-60 Coins (like 75% of the time like so many of the wonderful monsters in RS...), Rune arrows (7) and/or Adamant Arrows (16) (I've had both at the same time), Marentill Tar (6), Raw Bass, Cooked Bass, Blood Runes (5), Fire Runes (37), Battlestaves, Herbs, Mithril Kites (why do so many monsters drop these?! :|).

That's all I've had so far, but judging by that, and the fact that you have to pray on them 24/7, I'd say they're horrible monsters to train on. Too far spread out in the maze, too densely packed in the cavern below the maze (and multicombat with all three classes, so you'll get owned quickly if you wander out into the open parts and stay for too long). They might drop somthing unique, but I'm doubting it. If you want to explore this, prepare to use up a lot of prayer restore potions, or a whole lot of food.

I'm hoping to god that the slayer masters don't assign these :ohnoes:

Hard quest my butt. Spent ages waiting because I thought I would need more than 5 monkfish, I go in, forget to drink a super attack dose(thanks to the guy who died in cave), I drink it after all 4 dds specs, equip whip, loucust rider spawns, no big deal, Scarab mage spawns and hits a 17, I eat deal 2 more blows on Giant Scarab and its over. Total food used on "Fight" 1 monkfish, christ Jagex I had more trouble on Swan Song.

I think by "High-level quest" they mean that it is meant forthe high levels because lower levels will have trouble with the monsters, they didn't mean it as a hard quest, but rather to one that the whiny high-levels can only do

MY BEST ITEM IS A BRONSE COIN! I KILLED ZEZIMA AND HE DROPED IT!

What problem in particular are you having? If you're confused about where to go in the maze, just take the quick route: go east from where you enter the maze until you encounter a ladder. Go down it, then run as far to the north east as you can. Go up the ladder you find, and then go down the ladder immediately to the south of it.

That's exactly what I was thinking as I was reading through it... Wasn't clear or related to the maze itself.
