my cousin told me there was a secret way for members to get rich and his friend was joking and said that it was agility. i took it seriously though because someone i thought was a member (stupid noobs immitating members =() told me that with 5 agility you found secret piles of gold. i got it to 10 and i remember thinking " any minute now i'll find 1mil on the ground!!!" . but now it's all good cuz of jaitzo (omg i hate jagex) and sharks!

I remember I was freaking out when I got 200gp, and then I was so mad when I died and lost it.

I always use to think that in the farming guides, where it says the 'check health exp' meant that the exp you got from checking the tree, went into your hitpoint exp :

i was stuck on tutorial island making bread all day long. almost quit because of boredom. until another lvl 3 brought me out and told me that making bread and getting high cooking wasn't all there was to runescape.

I didn't really do much noobish stuff back when i started, because i had a friend giving me full addy etc(rune was then quite like dragon), but i trained a very long time at goblin village(to about 30 combat).

I told my friend my pass cus he said he would give me 500 Coins(a lot for me at the time) and he took the account :cry:

 

 

 

And i made this, this time my friend said he would get me to lvl 20(very high for me) And i never told him my pass. I searched for guides on the internet and found a macroing thing. Downloaded it, and got my account reset :evil:. I built it back up, found tip.it, got to lvl 30, learned everything. \

I used to think the Derlith was a major boss in the game

This is on behalf of my long-time friend who has played RS for almost as long as me (and that's a long time!): we were visiting Barb Outpost to cut willows, and it was his first time using a deposit box (yes he's very newbie lol). He didn't realise how it worked and deposited his woodcutting axe, and had to walk all the way back to ardougne. Funniest thing I've seen for a while.

 

 

 

When I was a low level, I used to think picking bananas for Luthas was one of the game's best-kept money making secrets. I also sold iron ore to a friend for 10gp each, which I thought was fantastic money at the time.

i thought that if you wore armor then u couldnt train your defence lvl (after i figured out how to train it past lvl 1 lol) so i was training def with nuthing not even a sword :XD:

Hehe, In tutorial island the game froze and I thought that since I didn't save the game I lost all the progress I made. So I logged back in and realized you couldn't save the game... :wall:

I actually figured most things out but the camera angles confused me. I'd have it so lumby castle was down, then turn it to look at something, want to go inside castle, go down and come to the alkarid gate. I finally figured out what was going wrong and wandered around looking for stuff to do.I was scared of quests for the longest time but eventually I did all f2p quests ( mostly by wandering around). Then I got members and while doing the dwarf cannon quest a friend told me about a cool site called tip.it/runescape. I then went to tip.it and memorized everything. Then I cam back and finished dwarf cannon. :thumbsup:

when i was a newbie, i asked where varrock was... and guess where i was #-o :oops: #-o

I had no clue how or what a quest was for some reason so I never really did any quests until I went back to Doric first quest I started) and talked with him, then got him the items and finished.

When I first started I didn't realize you could only be pk'd in the wild .....so I spent the first few days running, hiding, and killing rats and goblins trying to avoid everyone who was a higher lvl than me (which of course was pretty much everyone) , just waiting for someone to attack me :ohnoes:

When I hit about level 30, I got a bunch of food, armor and weapons together, and tons of other stuff, after really noticing the world map, and finding the massive desert next to al-kharid. So after spending about 1k on food and items and stuff, I marched to the gate, and was unable to go through...
