Biabf Posted January 27, 2007 Share Posted January 27, 2007 Hey Tip.It! Some of may know me, some might not. I have used these forums quite a lot. IÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢ve helped research items for the database and I have made a 55+ page 85 Slayer blog which is still the biggest on the board. I had another goal of buying a Santa (Mr S Scope) for a friend who lent me one to buy my party hat, I completed this goal during the week and now the game is not fun, I have nothing to work for, I donÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢t want or need any levels, itÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢s just not fun anymore. IÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢ve come to a point where I would rather spend time with friends that on Runescape. For these reasons, I am leaving, to me it is now a waste of time. IÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢m currently in the process of selling my items to invest in rares, I may come back in a year or so to sell them and split the money between friends. I will keep visiting the forums so I can contact friends but I will not play Runescape. Thanks to everyone who has talked to me, helped me, supported me, argued with me and corrected me. Keep up the good work everyone especially Tip.It Crew and TIF Moderators. I will keep using IRC to talk to people and you might find me on these forums occasionally. I haven't played runescape in almost 3 months... it was tough but y'know there are more important things in life than an online game... Aka me trying to get this hot chick to go out with me and convinceing my dad and mom that i should be able to date... It's still fun to see what new stuff comes into runescape and all but all those threads discussing the items and stuff seem pretty pointless now... I can't belive a shifted through mounds and mounds of data and guides for a game i don't even play anymore... :? With so many trees in the city you could see the spring coming each day until a night of warm wind would bring it suddenly in one morning. Sometimes the heavy cold rains would beat it back so that it would seem that it would never come and that you were losing a season out of your life. But you knew that there would always be the spring as you knew the river would flow again after it was frozen. When the cold rains kept on and killed the spring, it was as though a young person had died for no reason. It's sad the greatest goal in RS actually leads many to quiting.. But, all I ask if, dont make it seem as Rs is the worst thing to do in life. Just remember, Runescape doesnt make life worse, its how you the player plays it. Don't make it seem like anyone still playing has a sad life.
