rodl
Personally I think he is acting. He just did it for the camera for fun. Apparently, he did a good job because everyone fell for it Trashing the keyboard is no acting  I'm not going to argue about is it real or not, but if it wasn't real, he did an excellent job  If it was real through, I wouldn't want to cross his path even through I'm sure I'd beat him 1 vs 1. Oh, and no way he would get anywhere close to any of MY computers

Why would he have a mental break down while having a camera running, then stand up and turn it off afterward? He obviously planned on filming that breakdown. Nobody would go that crazy over a loading screen, I don't care how insane you are  . It's not that hard to do, just throw a tantrum. I could probably make a similar video if I had the time and resources (a cheap, spare keyboard).

I really don't have the answer. :) I don't understand people who have real breakdowns through. I'm always calm and I never go off at anyone :/ By the way that video looked very real to me due to his manic laugh and the way he was hitting the keyboard... That was his full strength, I'm sure of it. Oh, and also how he started weeping when he lost the escape button.
primadog
I play because RuneScape is one of those few constants in life. I started near the start of the game and had quit, returned, and quit again. Summers and Springs passed, purberty, high school, love, college, snow; life keep changing, progressing, evolving, sometimes to the point where I wonder will I ever able to stop playing "catch-up" with rest of the world. In those times, I turned to RuneScape, for it's always there, it's comforting. Sure, there'll be a patch or two, new worlds open up, new players, new areas and monsters and quests, but the gameplay remains ever so familiar; the cities and streets are still there - Varrock, Falador, O' River Lum. It's a sense of home-coming, returning to the old world where the changes are mild and predictable. Made0f12une
I play for fun, friends, and pie =P~ indeed pie is good. i use to play for the challenge and fun with friends and compete with them. now, its just to hope i make some1 react to my ingame attitude/actions just as this kid does http://youtube.com/watch?v=kBVmfIUR1DA That video is the scariest thing ever... Dalcyte
I play for fun, friends, and pie =P~ err what kind, and it depends on who makes it. Burntmeant=bad pies. I play for the community (TIF) and the variety of things to do. I haven't found a game since that can do this for me, and i'm not interested in looking around simply Click for mah Blog!- I'm not sure why you would though because i never update it Achieved 99 Thieving 3/10/07-992nd to it

Greedom1
So ask yourself today- why do you play, and who have you helped? thanks :D I play because I enjoy the game obviously and I have time to play it at the moment. (Both are interconnected IMO.) On your second point, I help out the same friends over and over and over and over. I rarely give freebies to newbies or noobs. Rather, I find that giving a friend a 1-5 million gift (that is truly appreciated) is much more valuable to me than 10 or even 100 gifts to strangers. Some may jump and call me selfish or even perhaps exclusive. I would argue that I'm merely exhibiting the behavior we all show in our daily lives. We will give our family unlimited efforts while only giving a minimal degree for complete strangers. I'm sure almost all players are similar to me: they have 1-5 good friends on RS that they would trust their entire bank and RS life to, and then the vast anonymous hordes. The former receive those 1 million gp+ gifts of items/materials with no questions asked; the latter are lucky to get a 10k gp break on a standard trade. RSN: Greedom1 | QP 248+ | Combat 116 | Total 1920+ | Skills 95 craft, 99 farm, 88 herb, 91 mage, 85 slayer Values? What do they mean?
Tommy07326
He's right about how we should help people more often. Right now, I'm going for 99 agility at ape atoll, and there are a ton of people who wander by lost and confused. I am proud to say I have helped every person who has come by there. the agility pryamid gives more experience for completing the course its over 1k a time :D -Tom-YouVidIt Lead developerwww.youvidit.com check out the new rival video sharing community coming in october. Soulcleaver
Yeah, I would have to say that I play for the challenge of completing the goals I set myself, and looking back to when I could only wish for the things that now I have. Understandably, it can seem a bit sad to get happy or get a good feeling inside while playing a game, but I think that it isn't that different from real life really, in that perspective. You want a new job, so you get an education, stick at it, and then look back to the times when you struggled to get to where you are now. Thats my two cents :) Click sig for my hawt blog

Who is to judge that our experience in this game values any less than experiences else where? The life lessons are still life lessons, the happiness are still happiness, the pain still pain, the accomplishments still accomplishments. go_falcons92
I have no idea why I play now that I think of it. When I fish or something its boring and I don't like doing it and when I train combat it gets boring also. Now that I think of it.. everything is boring.. for some reason I'm still addicted to the game.

nomader
Why do I play? I play simply as another way to interact with friends. Many of the people I know in the real world play Runescape. So the game gives me a way to meet with them when I can't face to face.
Star_Fox
i help all my friends on daily basis, wether its a small favor, or a huge task. i play mainly cause it kills spare time, whenever i get back from basketball, playing super smash brothers, or eating a large meal, its up to runescape to keep me occupied. Chubbysanta
The only thing I find hard to help with is farming or quests where its all about you, like mourning ends 2.
