Circus Info

Couldn't decide if this belongs in Help & Advice or here, so please feel free to move it where ever it needs to be...

Ok, just some inside info for anyone to use and/or test for results. I missed the Circus the first day it was out but have been every since. The first week (Catherby), I did exactly what was asked from the audience with emotes, none repeated and got a rounded score of 800 in each event (netting me 3 of the 4 Acrobat cloths). The next week (Taverly), I tried again following the audience and using emotes, none repeated and still got 800 in each event (netting me the last Acrobat piece and nothing else).

This week (Edgeville), I went in to try and get the lowest scores and get the audience pieces. Here is my results from this week. I found them rather odd.

I started with the Mage Event, and did about 3 casts with no emotes. Then I accidentally clicked a House Teletab and left the event. When I got back, I had the Audience Shoes without having to finish my performance. I then went to the Range Event and picked up only Throwing Knives. Went to the 99 Spot (on both sides) and did all 10 shots (5 from each side) with no emotes and completely ignoring the audience. Got a score of 1100 (Clown Hat). Then went to the Agility Event, grabbing only Chinchompas. I did all my emotes first, starting from the top left and worked across and down until the Chatbox told me that emotes would no longer effect my performance. Then, I juggled Chinchompas (level 99) 10 times in a row. The whole time, I got a message says something along the lines of "The audience disapproves of your repeat performance." When I was done, however, I got a score over 1200 (Ringmaster Hat).

These results are interesting and surprising to me. Feel free to try it out and see if you get the same results.

Wow that's wierd, I'm glad I haven't done this event until now! How often did you succeed on juggling the chins?

Aww ffs I just tried that and failed on the chins once. Got a score of 1140 :( But I got the clown top and bottoms. Funny, because the last two weeks I've been trying to satisfy the audience as much as possible and I got ~800 every friggin time... :roll:

Yeah, it pretty much boils down to luck doesn't it? Mine's only 75. Yet my ranged is 99 and I failed on the 99 range spots like 4 times...

ive done as close to audience everytime and have full acrobats, thats it. thanks for the info.

I got a 1300 agility score at 72 agility and a 800 magic score at 99 magic. It's messed up.

Strange, I did high level preformances on range and agility, my range was only 69, and agility 61. I almost never, if ever, failed... I got ringmaster hat and shirt.

Then, I tried high level mage preformances, and I failed about half the time... But you know what's really odd? I HAVE 90 MAGE! Seriously, what the heck? I thought it, being my best stat, would be the easiest to get higher points with. I only ended up getting about 850 points.

Agil is the easiest one imo. Got 1404 at 84 agil.

hehe, i only did the 99 moves on the range event with a non-repeting emote inbetween every one, and got ringmaster hat with 77 range. \

did only 99 and 90 mage ones with non-repeating emotes inbetween everyone, but i missed like 5 of them with 81 mage. got me 800 pts. :oops:

then i did agility like this with 57 agility:

chins (99)

backflip (99)

torches (90)

large leap (90)

i missed 3, and got 1100 pts, and clown shirt.

only do the high lvl moves i say! :lol:

thats really odd, i did the same thing agility wise as u but i messed up on the chins once, and i got clown bottoms. and i wasnt even trying on the other 2 and i got the clown hat and top.

for the past 2 weeks ive been tring to do everything that the auidence wanted me to do and i always got around 800 points :?

well did you do the math and multiply by you being over 9000?

What I do I always do the lvl 90-99 stuff, with emotes inbetween. Even if you fail a few times, overall it pays more.

Yea. I did the 99 mage and got it every time and I am only like 71 mage :D

I did 99 ranged and failed a lot. Kind of strange since I am 99 ranged -.-

Hmm good idea... maybe range armor helps aswell? And possibly same with mage? Probably not but it wouldn't hurt to wear it anyway.

From the previous posts, it seems 60-70 in a stat works better than 90+!

Is it me, or is something wrong here? Maybe I should try to use Saradomin brew to get my magic down to about 65, and try it again... However, I may just try with my natural 90 mage again, see if I do better the next time...

I did the circus earlier and got 1250, 1333 and 1000(magic one is trickier) doing what I said.

it work last 2 weeks i got acrobat and shoes this week i got a ring master hat form mage and ring master top from acrobat. :mrgreen:

Heh, I just found out how to get ringmaster for every event, and it works ~80% of the time.

Basically, you have to completely ignore the audience

Start with doing emotes until it says they don't count for points anymore

Then simply alternate between the level 99 events.

If you make 9/10 or 10/10 of the 99 as a success (Which I can do with 66 agility, 86 magic, and 80 ranged), viola, ringmaster.

EDIT:

Also, from what I know, magic armor and ranged armor DO helps with the events.

I also used bronze arrows 10 times.

My high scores are 1535 in Range event, 1385 in Magic event, and multiple 1450+ in Agility event...alternating between the 2 99 skills as long as you're 70+ in the skill is the easiest way to get the ringmaster outfit, although if you get a low score don't worry because as far as we can tell it's very random with some people...like I can get 1200+ 99% of the time while my friend (with 99 magic and higher agility than me) is struggling to get over 1k.

A little secret, the ringmaster hat is useful for more than just looking good. ;)

I switched back and forth between the 2 99 range spots, arrows on the target, axes on the ducks, and I got a score around 1560. (Range potted to 98 or so)

The audience is there to destroy you, don't trust them.

Also, I failed 7 out of the 10 agility things(all 99s) and still got a 950ish...so just spam the highest level things and you will win eventually.
