  1. KBD is, by all accounts, both faster, more profitable and IMO fun than KQ. And for being one of the oldest bosses, he's still quite profitable. Comparison for one trip, solo: KBD ~60K worth of inventory. 10 kills, leave with 70-100K worth KQ ~150k worth of inventory. 0-1 kill, leave with ~3K worth The kicker? I am not even kidding on KQ. Here're my last 15 kills (one a trip): 75 Nature runes Loop half of a key Rune chainbody Rune chainbody 600 Fire runes Rune chainbody 500 Mithril arrows 600 Fire runes 20 Law runes Loop half of a key Nothing Uncut sapphire Uncut emerald 20 Wine of zamorak 19 Blood runes 75 Nature runes And she's incredibly tough. Easily on par with GWD bosses, if not harder.
  2. Already found a potentially (mini)game ruining bug. GG Jagex, GG.
  3. or the draconic jads since they r the ones tht give only herb seeds... Oh, i checked the wiki and it said the only Jad that drops exclusively herb seeds was carrion. Do you have any drop rates of Ugune from draconics? Herb rates were about 1/15 caught. Ugune was 1/3, samaden being rare.
  4. Wikia. But just for the record: Camouflage jadinko Draconic jadinko Cannibal jadinko Aquatic jadinko Are the only normal jadinko's that require a Juju hunter potion.
  5. I remember when the top three players finally were able to obtain Abyssal whips and everyone complained they were just strings of sausages. 25M GP or so. Barrows got released not too long after. Being worth 30M per set and whatnot.
  6. Zamorak: Red vine, No feature, Kalferberry, Apple Guthix: Green vine, Tall grass, no bush, Apple Saradomin: Blue vine, Dark pit, Lergberry, Banana Has anyone tried making normal potions under the influence of Guthix' gift potion? We might be looking at permanent 10% cheaper way to get Herblore up.
  7. Let's not forget the Guthix potion. 10% more XP when making potions in the area. However, it's not specified they can only be jungle potions. Now, I do not know if there's a limit on these god jadinko's. If there isn't, you can combine Guthix potion with the Tiki mask and Duel ring to teleport to CW, return with overloads (thanks to Tiki mask's teleportation option) for a permanent 10% more XP Herbloring. Which means something when the skill costs 400M+. And even without permanent god jadinko's. 15 minutes of 10% extra xp is a pretty decent weekly D&D. The Saradomin potion can also be used with the fruit tree patch when planting Coconuts. Just saying.
  8. We need to find a set-up to optimally get those pots, IMO. Currently, I'm looking into farming potions. So that's: - Thermal vent habitat - Blue vine, un-Juju'd - Orange fruit tree - Lergberry bush Now, where to find a good source of Ugune seeds? :-k
  9. What is a good Familiarisation CC? What is a good 80+ Hunter/Fishing/Mining/WC fast SC channel or where should I look for such a team? Thanks in advance.
  10. Glad I'm not the only one. I didn't even realise that there was an even lower detail mode. I totally forgot about Safe mode and assumed setting Min would produce the same. Silly me. Thanks. And that's to all of you.
  11. I do use Mousekeys and have fast internet, so it can't be that.
  12. So many guides and many professional RC'ers say that ZMI regularly gets 55-60K xp per hour. Even maxing at 69K xp/hr according to Aribiterspar. This of course includes mousekeys, little lag and careful bank positioning and planning. I did all that and yet... 44,888 XP in an hour was what I recorded last time (~45K before that and ~40k before that, so pretty consistent). Of course, this isn't terrible, but I'm still roughly 20K xp per hour away from what many guides say are the rates at my level (which is 94 by the way). So I must be doing something terribly, terribly wrong if I'm 33% slower than what guides tell me I should get. Or, they're all lying. I just don't know what's what anymore. So I decided to record a snippet of my run and post it on YouTube in case some of these professional, 60K xp/hr Runecrafters can tell me where I'm going wrong http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZfOj-rsTEMU Roughly 3 minutes 16 worth of Runecrafting and 2,620 XP translating into roughly 48K xp/hr. The bank mishaps aren't as common as depicted in video (partially due to lag caused by the recording software). Can anyone tell me what I'm doing wrong?
  13. Therein lies the problem. Either you must be really elite in certain stats (mostly combat), have friends who just happen to live in the same timezone as you, have roughly the same stats and have to be free on the same time or you need to have high Dungeoneering in the first place, which is oxymoronic (needing high DG to train it). Otherwise you're almost guaranteed to be stuck with those incompetent noobs regardless of your skill and expertise.
  14. Today, Phoenix Odin has drawn from 400-500k from 200M RC experience to 75K. Just 2 hours work. Once he reaches this, the next step in RuneScape has been reached; every skill has at least one person with 200M experience. Could this be the start of new goals to look forward to? After level 99, 200M experience was the obvious follow up as in hardcore skilling. What could the next goal be? Will these people be gifted like level 99s were in 2006? Discuss.
  15. 1) As someone who avidly hunts Dragon items. No. A thousand times no. The average drop of KQ is worth ~3,000 gp. I'm not kidding. Meanwhile, she is probably one of the hardest bosses to solo around. Saying this confidently as I've solod the majority of RS bosses (save K'ril, Kree'arra and CB). 2) Tormented Wraith is an utter waste of time. Focus on CB if you can handle it (you'd need to be nearly maxed to stand chance of being included in teams). 3) Very profitable. Relatively easy (with a boss mindset). If you can kill Tormented Demons, you should. 4) Kree'arra: Can't say, no experience. K'ril: dito Zilyana: Her room is has indeed roughly halved in size. You can fire about 1~2 shots every corner run. Still, her drops are quite good and might make for an interesting experience. Graardor: Easiest boss to solo, second easiest to get KC for and unfortunately... easiest place to get crashed. Last time I went there, 95% of the worlds I visisted were busy. Make of it as you will. 5) Soloing Rex was quite possibly the best moneymaking and most relaxed experience I ever had with boss battles. Still, I'm unsure how safespots were affected as I haven't visted that place after the RuneTek5 update. Last trip though, I came home with a Clue scroll, Dragon Spear, Dragon Hatchet, 1 Warrior ring and that was after a total of around 140 kills. 6) If you're looking for net profit with combat, look into Frost dragons, Barrowing and Tormented Demons. Roughly in that order.
  16. What I did back in late '08 when I got my Dragon claw drop was to frequent the forums and spend time in W2 (which is(/was ?) still full with people, especially when it comes to rares). After a few days of having observed the commotion and desirability, setting a GE/sell bar which I deemed a desirable and never change it, never barter it and never regret it. You have to be adamant in this case. For example, my last Dragon claws I set a bar "if these hit 50M in the GE, I'm selling". Once I saw the number hit the Grand Echange I just sold them and didn't look back. Even if they rose a little after that. The fact is, is that you can't predict where the market will shift. People who stock up and wait will most probably get the shaft.
  17. True. But I'd prefer not put tipex on my monitor. :(
  18. As seen in this video. What program is used to get grids on your screen and is it legal?
  19. (Rein)Forced teamwork. Either your party is stupidly incompetent and ignorant to a T... or they're so elite that you basically have to hand over you curriculum vitae so they can check up whether you suit their wild requirements. It sucks being in the middle in RuneScape. Truly.
  20. You've got to understand the confusion. You're willingly letting a ~200 hour task (hello RC) go 20-50% slower because you "don't have time to waste" during your 5-10 minute herb run every 1.5 hour. The entire mindset is completely oxymoronic in nature. On top of that, you're barking at people with lots more experience in the field trying to impose that your unconventional methods are somehow the right way to train Runecrafting when statistics say otherwise. I just don't get it. Either way, it's clear that you've got no ears to us or our advice. Go ahead with your plan and enjoy your perfectly timed herb runs spread over your 400 hour road to 99 runecrafting.
  21. I sip a Super anti at Shantay bank. 5 minutes is more than enough to get close to KQ and away from her guardians.
  22. 42 kills in now, I've been using full Verac's as that is claimed the most surefire way to down the Kalphite Queen. However, my Ranged is far superior to my melee abilities (94 > 75/75) and I was wondering whether it's possible to design a wellfare outfit (with 4 items protected) that can be used to Hybrid the KQ. I was thinking: - Verac's Helm - Karil's top - Verac's skirt - Rock climbing boots - Amulet of Glory - Combat bracelet - 75 diamond bolts (e) - Ring of wealth - Ava's attractor Weapons: - DDS + Unholy book (first half, first form) - Verac's flail (second half, first form) - Rune crossbow (second form) Inventory: - 4 Extreme pots - 2 Prayer potions - Teleport tab - Rock tails BoB - 18 Rocktails Should I change anything?
