  1. What the [bleep] are you doing with acid and why did you give it to an animal, and then have the nerve to laugh and find it funny? PETA would have a god damn heart attack. OH NOES PETA! How could you!? What a waste of LSD!
  2. If you want to sound intelligent in critiquing, follow your high school art teacher's advice on critiques. Try to say "I like" as little as possible. This site has some good vocabulary to use for critiques. You could follow a pattern like this: Strong Points about the work: Weak Points about the work: What to do to make it better: Misc. Advice: End it on a good note with some kind words to make them feel all warm and fuzzy.
  3. Egad, an Oil spill in Catherbury, call the EPA!
  4. Tree: Dithering is nice once in a while for things, but don't go overboard with it. The trunk of the tree shouldn't be that dithered. It makes it look too round and lacking normal tree-ish texture. Also, when you save your pictures, save in .png if you are using paint. If you are using photoshop, you could use save for web and use a high quality .jpg or a .gif. There is a similar save for web feature in gimp, although you will have to ask someone a little more familiar with gimp for that. Your colors are very well chosen. But, you tend to pillow shade. Try doing a different light source. Make it come from one side or another. Try looking out your window and looking at trees and what the shades look like. Or even look at a picture of a tree on google. Don't be afraid to use references. Figure: Yay, sketch! Your sketch looks very nice. The arms are a little thin, but the pose is nice and the anatomy is OK. Once you cleaned out the lines, I think you lost some of the definition of the neck. It looks very blocky there and because his helm is so big and blocky, it doesn't flatter the noodly arms. The hands look a little too big and like he is wearing boxing gloves once you cleaned up the lines. Take a look at some hands. Hands are hard though, they will come in time. Overall, just keep pixeling. You could end up doing very well. For a first pixel is actually very well done. You tackled human anatomy quite nicely.
  5. A neat little biography. I would laugh if he himself actually posted on this.
  6. How about as well as baits, incenses and scents to calm and drug the animals to make them more compliant. You could do this by lighting certain herbs on fire.
  7. I forgot a rubber could mean an eraser as well as... that  If you worked more on the perspective on this, this would be great. Next time, I would try for a little more contrast. Don't be afraid to press down on the charcoal. Maybeive the bricks texture and draw every brick.
  8. I am a type of person who enjoys solving puzzles. Therefore, I try to avoid guides on quests or holiday events.
  9. I think I have found a new best friend... Improvements: A minimize to tray function. Maybe a graphic interface or a coordinate finder.
  10. The FOG robes are satisfactory mage armour. Yes... but they degrade. This is annoying. Plus, some people loathe FOG. So that's just a wee bit unfair to them that the only pair of good mage robes come from a minigame. I would much rather have a better spell than better armour. Maybe the wave class and snare (maybe even entangle). It would magic somewhat competitive in f2p.
  11. Congratulations... Now, onto the more exciting part of this thread, the betting of when this thread will get locked due to flaming. I put 10k on it will be locked by Tomorrow.
  12. I am trying to put more of a unique spin on this in this one. Make it less ordinary. But, what should I put in the right to make it seem less empty over there?
  13. Hehe, I was just going to outline a few things, but I got carried away... Try using a random dither like I did on his arms. You can see a bit of it on the thumbnail of the face I gave you. If you are stuck on stuff, google pictures of people with beards. But, try to think of beards as rather messy and rough. Go with a lot of grey's and whites for this santa. Don't be afraid to stay with black boundaries. Loose them if needed.
  14. Red can also mean power or authority. Blues, whites and golds tend to be the colors associated with good. Green is with nature, and I guess to some degree, intelligence. You kind of forgot about indigo. Purple = Violet too.
  15. That would be rather fun. Add me onto that list.
  16. Congrats nje :D I know tons of "f2pers" who train skills as members without getting any xp in member's stats. Name some.
  17. Divine Exchange - If someone is about to die, you can take their place as a scapegoat. When you respawn, run recharge rates, health restore rates, stat restore rates are quartered, stats are halved for a half hour. (Not if it is PvP, you must be within 8 squares of the person)
  18. This is news to me, tipit's reputation and good name can get LOWER?
  19. I don't quite get the first sketch... is the lake going uphill? I'm a little confused :? about the linework skull made... here's some color! or, do you want more of a sunset time? Or a nighttime?
  20. Probably not, but I can see this topic will turn into the typical F2P vs P2P argument very quickly :\
