  1. I think I remember 3 hit u posting something about this in general discussion. I think you have to login/logout or something.
  2. houses involve con but i agree capes of achievments..f2p has achivments 2 ;) they should be able too shine Maybe P2P players could design and build basic houses (No fancy things, no throne room, only things up to oak, no guilded things, no altar or butler. Just a basic limited house. They could sell these to F2P players for a profit.
  3. How about for herblore, a mix made out of olive oil and swamp tar(or maybe something else) that is flamable and you can dump on the ground. With one dose of this, you could walk 4 steps and create a line of fire if you light it with a lit torch, tinderbox or whatever. It would become a barrier that couldn't be crossed until it burns out. This could only be used in clan wars, fight caves or bounty hunter.
  4. Or, how about a option under the operate which heals a selective amount of HP and can only be used x many times a day or some other restriction.
  5. I would have to say the ones that would extend over your screen were the worst. That "anti-virus & spyware" one.
  6. I couldn't care less about the forums honestly. If the restricted thing happened, I wouldn't mind it. Same with the quests. I would like them, but I won't push for them. Unless they gave something that helped f2p runecrafting. It's a dead skill honestly.
  7. I was thinking that too. They played football back in the 2nd age eh? I doubt that the stone would make an appearance...
  8. 1) Some expansion to F2P runecrafting. It's a dead skill. It would take almost 2 years solid runecrafting to get 99 runecraft. (If you only walk/run to the bank and back) 2) Snare... or maybe entangle? (entangle probably won't happen) Magicians are pushovers in f2p since bind is a pathetic spell and mages will instantly get killed by melee. Or maybe a spell that binds and deals damage? 3) Skill capes 4) The games necklace so we can teleport to clan wars & bounty hunter... I hate having to walk all the way from varrock/edgeville. 5) Crossbows (up to mith perhaps? adamant if lucky likewise with bolts, but no special bolts)
  9. My suggestion is a simple one that would be rather useful. If we were able to move the menu's in the way we want, this could be a lot easier for people runecrafting. I am talking about the withdraw menu. This one Say you are making potions, and you want to withdraw 14 vials and 14 of the second or the herb. You have to right click and move your mouse down to the 14 mark. What if you were able to make the menu look like this. Now, if you want to withdraw 14 of those potions, all you have to do is click on the item once and you have the 14 potions. If jagex made a little interface where you could switch those around, withdrawing would be easier. People wouldn't have to waste time if they accidentally clicked the withdraw x instead of withdraw all. This could be applied to regular items too. If you wanted to switch a piece of tuna's option to use first you could so if you were making the tuna potatoes, you would use the tuna on the potato instead of eating it and wasting a tuna. Notes: I know the picture is of withdrawing monk robes. I know those aren't monk robes or tuna. I was just using that as a way to show you what it would look like.
  10. Maybe a little late to suggest, but a tiny url option? For those who have limited character space, this could be a life saver. Take for example this draynor stat sig... http://www.draynor.net/stat/greenfrost/male/red_b_dhide/Oylimpiana.png That is 70 characters. Tipit's link will probably be something similar, but maybe if we could have a tiny url option so it would look something like: http://www.tip.it/sig/0124 This would only be 26 characters, and could save on some character space if people need it.
  11. Why use it when Torag is better and cheaper? Uhh, it hasn't even been released...
  12. nje had a great thread on clan wars suggestions... I support this one too though.
  13. Now rub your banhammer wounds, and start complaining to Jagex. Though if you don't want to sound like a douche you could just message Jagex saying they made a mistake, so that you don't receive a black mark. Makoto... READ THAT.
  14. But that just says to them you admit to breaking the rule.
  15. I think it is just fine. If you actually read what is written, you don't exactly need pictures. This is a pretty decent guide. One of the first decent f2p guides in a long time. Most of them now are sad attempts by people who have no [bleep]ing idea what they are talking about because they probably haven't played in f2p that long or not in a very long time.
  16. Nice double post [wagon], use the edit button. The real reason why the forums aren't F2P is the required server space, bandwidth and like. The forums were f2p during the beta. The servers couldn't handle 10 million more posters unless they made some expensive upgrades. If they were to allow F2P players on the forums, they would only make a certain number of people able to post. They could thin the crowd out by making a totallevel/exp required, time played, no blackmarks in x amount of time, good reporting history and how mature they are and if they would use them responsibly. I don't see that happening because it would be too much work. However, you never know. The stuck up, arrogant 13-15 year olds are worse than the 9 year olds. And that is part of the age group in RS. The 9 year olds would be a minority. And quite a few of those people begged and whined for their parents to buy them membership, so they are there too. (This is not to say all 13-15 year olds are stuck up and arrogant, there are plenty of calm and mature ones) About the spam and begging, try wearing a godsword and some bandos armour into a p2p varrock center. Watch the 0mg!!!@!@@!!!!! l3nd me gs plzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz221!!!!!!!!
  17. It doesn't "artificially inflate" your combat level, just because you don't like Summoning doesn't make it a fake skill or fake combat levels, they're real combat levels Jagex added speficially for the skill. What a stupid thing to say. And as for what mauranius said about members, threads like this are why many members hate f2p'ers, people like the thread starter with a sense of entitlement for something they don't even pay for. Oh, gee that isn't stereotypical. Just because the loud annoying handful act like morons, you stereotype every F2P player as a stuck up snob who feels entitled to everything. If I stereotyped every P2P player by how they acted on the RSOF and on various fansites like tipit, I would have a very low opinion of all P2P players.
  18. Umm, I don't believe that is against the rules.
  19. If anything, the forced 10 second ad makes me want to circumvent all ads.
  20. He kinda looks like a hunchback, and you usually use tongs when you're holding metal that is at at several hundred degrees Fahrenheit. But other than that, it is great.
  21. Heh, I thought that was GWD for a minute...
  22. Yeah, been dead for a while. I wouldn't have put this in General Discussion though...
