  1. The content aware feature looks really cool, I may have to play around with it a little bit. There's no way in hell I can afford it though, unfortunately.
  2. That's definitely not the only reason. You're right, there's also racism to consider as well.

I take it she doesn't know you're gay then?
  4. The Twilight movie is one of the worst movies I have ever seen. I basically kept facepalming and laughing throughout the whole movie. Yeah, I sat there trying to figure out if it was a big joke and upon deciding that somehow it wasn't, trying to figure why the hell people could ever argue for it being even a decent movie, never mind the amazing movie that lots of people thought it was. Damn that was a run on sentence.

Thorpe was one hell of an athlete, that's for sure. Probably the greatest of his time, but not of all time. It's hard to make comparisons across hundred year gaps or more though.
  6. That's dumb. I only bring my lunch. Granted it's like oreos and a coke so I'm not exactly going for healthy. And on a somewhat related note I'm thinking of going vegetarian.
  7. I saw the Twilight movie and it was pretty terrible. I'd imagine that the books are better, but still pretty bad. I'm not going to put in the time to read them, although I did find a drinking game for reading them which could be funny. I read to fast though and would likely die of alcohol poisoning.
  8. Last couple movies I saw were: Reservoir Dogs - Brilliant movie, but I expected it to be. Great dialog, definitely worth watching. Law Abiding Citizen - I really liked this movie as well, I expected it to be more of a normal action movie, but I'm glad it had the thriller aspect to it. 8 Mile - I expected it to be pretty bad. It was pretty good. Not amazing, but a lot better than I thought it would be.
  9. Boats are useful, just not something to live on.

Pfft, my hair is super sexy.
  12. It's just a [cabbage]ty flag, what's the big deal? It has absolutely no use. Be upset that you can't go to Runefest, not upset that you can't run around with a crappy flag that's basically just an advertisement for the event.

I dunno, I don't think I'm immature. I guess it really depends on how you define maturity.
  14. B.o.B. - Airplanes Pretty good song.

I hate pre-calc so much. It's just a bunch of useless [cabbage]. It might not piss me off as much if my teacher actually taught how to do it instead of giving us some somewhat related material and telling us to go do it.
  16. It's just a fusion reaction. CNN only called it a mini sun to dumb it down and because the reporter most likely has no idea what they're trying to write about, leading to the misconception that these scientists are going to basically make a small sun that's going to sit around and provide the world with energy which is not the case. It's simply a fusion reaction that's used for energy and is supposedly efficient.
  17. There's no way to accurately answer this question, therefore this thread is just going to be filled with [bleep]ing. I'll admit though, I never understood the language issue that people from England have with America. I mean yeah, a few letters and pronunciations are different, but other than that it's the same thing. I mean no one complains about Scottish English and that's practically an entirely different language from what I've heard
  18. A half a gram? <_<
  19. I assume he means easier to get yourself killed like while driving a car or walking around high, etc.
  20. A crossbow is a good silent weapon. Useless if you're being actively engaged by multiple targets, but useful for taking something out from a distance as well as for hunting without revealing your position. Re-usable ammunition in many cases as well. One you make yourself could have varied effectiveness due to lowered durability, longer reload times and less force behind the bolts. Pluses are that they're cheap, don't require a permit of any sort in a pre-apocalypse world, and you make your own bolts. Any chance I could see a picture of it or diagram? I've designed a few crossbows in the past but I've never actually built one.

Tried it last night, I got everything up to and including the weight on my chest, but when I opened my eyes I didn't hallucinate or hear anything and when I closed them I wasn't dreaming. So pretty much a failure. I'll probably try it again tonight. And your handwriting is far better than mine. But I am known to have some of the worst penmanship of all time.

They're trying to make sure no one tries to jump back into the crowd or something. Of course the tech guys/whoever they are started diving into the crowd about halfway in. It got a lot more intense about 20 minutes in. Hopefully someone got a video of the whole show, I want to hear Thomas' speeches again. He also kept asking people to bring him jagerbombs. Which they did. Edit: it was actually the opening band that was stage diving I think.
