Hellhounds, i've never skipped them but i always range them, ranging 100+ hellhounds is very slow and their ONLY drop is a lvl 3 clue scroll, I dislike clue scrolls do the degree that i refuse to do them now, because A) i can't do any of them without using a guide and B)they keep sending me to lvl 40+ wildy to fight an idiot zammy wizard and then to [bleep]ing karamja to fight a sara wizard and then give me a [bleep]ing puzzle box. Screw clue scrolls and hellhounds but mostly clue scrolls. ahem, also i dislike with a passion verging on hatred turoths/kurasks (since i have to use either an idiotic weapon or loads of runes and their average drop is 5 coins. I like trolls, at one point i had (out of about 20 assignments) 9 troll assignments in rapid succession and really they don't hit hard, they have reasonable drops (herb seeds) and there are many variants you can kill. Edit:jumping on the bandwagon to say that aberrant specters are one of the best slayer assignments you can get, if you use 6-7 prayer pots to finish your task you will get at least 6-7 ranarrs and in my experience more like 10-15 ranarrs back.

I'd say this might be changed by Jagex, because its obvious that they wanted all enemies to be able to attack you(at the same time) in the boss room. It's no form of cheating though, thats like saying dancing with enemies is bug abuse or w/e.

I'd like to add I've spent yet another day down in the god wars dungeon and actually killed Bandos's general, its fun and a bit tense but with 1 person its basically impossible without blocking 2 or 3 enemies(its really luck wether they will get 'stuck' in a position they can't attack you), with 3-4 people its doable but intensive on food and pots, with 6/7+ people its easy. Of course thats just Bandos boss room, i don't want to kill 40 aviensies(sp), i don't have 70 agility for Sara and I'm scared of the Zammy general. Small tips for anyone who doesn't know them yet (for Bandos), to get your kill count up follow the river to the north from the entrance ladder, cut in to the west when u cant go further north, go north and you should be directly under the boss room, 3 hobgoblins (lvl 47 I pretty sure) spawn here, and the bigger enemies can't get to you. Thank you tipit for the lovely map :) In the boss room pray against range unless the general is targeting you and in melee range, in which case switch to melee protect. The general's range attack can hit at least 30, his melee can hit at least 40 (these are the hits on me i noted) his lieutenants or w/e can hit upto 16, although possibly higher, there are 3, 1 is a mage, 1 is a ranger and 1 is a meleer, so depending on your armour 1 will be more threatening(to you) than the others. It seems to be a good idea to target the General first because he can inflict the most damage, but with a team over 5 its a good idea to have 4 people attack the general and then the spares to atatck the mage then ranger then meleer as they will be doing constant damage to your party. Um yeh...those are some ideas and things i've noticed, hopefully not everyone knew everything i just wrote.

The only effects on the economy will be 12k prayer pots 15k super sets and 1.5k sharks. Regardless of the God Sword's rarity(in fact the rarer the less the effect will be) it wont replace the whip, because the whip is such an efficient weapon.

69-70% is the best I've ever managed, I can't accurately recall the best reward but it was something like: 1k iron arrows, 1.5k feathers and a few hundred chaos runes.

Well, just the supplies in edge pk'ing are extremely expensive. Super set-9k 3 p pots(4)-30k 21 sharks-21k So that's about 60k per fight(yes, less if you're opponent runs out first). So to profit, you have to kill a lot more than dying, and kill fairly often to make money from supplies. Real pk'ing is much more fun, but this is cheaper. Damn you Uga you're far too reasonable to have a proper Runescape arguement with. :shame: . I don't like Rc Pkers but i can't really fault your reasoning. You win this round.

Rc pkers only intent is to kill rcers, i.e: people they know will not fight back, thats pretty much the definition of cowardice. I haven't used the abyss in a while(2 months), but i doubt much has changed. Its really pretty irrelevant that they don't pk there for profit, but for fun, its a bit like rich people who go hunting in Africa with a team of beaters, and lurers, while they stand there with a high velocity hunting rifle and shoot a lion from half a mile away.

What i read from your reply: I've been playing longer than you, i benefited from killing the old(at the time new) rare dropping monsters, and made lots of money from it, now im in a position to kill the new rare drop monsters and benefit again, i sneer in your direction, because having played longer means i don't have to worry about being a rude [puncture]. The idea is not an awful one, because really i don't think jagex intended any 'rare' item to become in effect worthless. I do agree that new items making old items less desirable isn't the end of the world, but really whats the point in having a drop that is 1-10000 buts its real value is 250k, when a new drop with not much longer odds of being dropped is worth 20-50 times as much.

Lenin pointed this out, but also mispelt the word censored (as cesnor). Then you(Sara) countered by saying Lenin mistyped would be as wouldbe. Finally Lenin came back with a general broadside at your(Sara's) spelling and grammar, whilst using the ; sign instead of the ' sign. Neither of you can spell or type perfectly, stop beating each other over the head. Although the irony of you both mocking each others spelling while misspelling is humorous to me because i am a man of whimsy.

On one of my earlier trips to barrows at roughly lvl 80 combat, i was fighting TORAG and ran out of prayer, i thought it would be a good idea to not pot up and see what happened, death is what happened, i lost a lot of stuff, and have found out since(months ago) that no one dies to Torag, all i had to do was repot or tele out, i did neither and got the death i deserved. Worse than that was when i was killing green dragons and 2 pkers arrived in monks robes and started attacking/hassling a lvl 80 ish(they were roughly lvl 80), the lvl 80 dragon killer got a bit of luck and engaged a dragon. I thinking 'wth I'm gonna teach these fools a lesson', proceed to attack the robed ones,needless to say i got my [wagon] handed to me severely, as in i probably got one hit in over 5 and was getting constantly hit for 20's. That was me being stupid, but it did teach me that the PvP combat system is broken in favour of 'pures'(in the sense that to pk you have to be one, or at least have high range/magic/strength in relation to your combat level). So now i don't try anything gallant when in the wilderness.

At this point i want to grab you (any will do) by the head and scream at you until one of us dies. I don't see how warning signs detract from the game in any way, i don't see why warning people of dangerous situations is attracting 8 year olds to play. None of you are actually making valid points anymore(i.e:showing any correlation or plausible link), those stopped 3-4 pages ago, and now its just recycled crap thats barely understandable.

Sounds like you dislike almost every aspect of the game including the fundamentals, maybe its not for you, maybe suggesting they change nearly every aspect of the game should be a clue that you don't like the game and probably shouldn't play. Tbh the leveling can be tedious in RS but (not saying this as a positive or negative) younger players are more likely to become disillusioned with the game and start playing something with easier/more tangible goals/achievements such as say WoW. Maybe there are a lot of young players playign RS, but i'd imagine few play for more than a month or two. I said this a lot earlier and I'll say it again because i can, to gain high skills requires dedication and determination if you don't want to do it I'd suggest another game, rather than saying lols this game is crap make it better by making everything quicker and with a different control system cause thats leet.

A)No, thats just stupid. B)Is rune armour obsolete? dragon armour is superior in every way, why doesn't everyone wear dragon? Because of course not everyone has the money to buy it, in other words the cost is prohibitive. The square shield isn't obsolete at all (points at slayers>>). EDIT: Very true. The game is completely one dimensional... There is no variety to weaponry, like there is in other rpgs. You do not gain an advantage by using certain types of weapons, even though they intended it that way with the slash/stab/crush system... The abyssal whip is the end-all-be-all. The same applies to armor... There is no point in wearing anything other than barrow armor, as it is far superior to everything else. Jagex has boxed themselves into a corner content-wise by making the game so linear. Unless drastic changes are made in the way combat operates, the game will likely not last past 2010. One way to make combat more diverse is to add damage bonuses/handicaps against certain types of armor with certain types of weapons.. For example, when using Stab against chainmail, your max hit is +5 higher than normal. However, when using crush against chain mail, your max hit is -5 less than normal. This would make combat require more strategy and add purpose to more archaic weapons, like warhammers and spears. They also need to make armor enchantable, with each enchant giving both an advantage AND a disadvantage. Say, sapphire enchant on Rune armor gives it a prayer bonus of +2 but reduces strength by -2. They need MODIFICATIONS instead of COMPLETELY NEW stuff, but when the armor is modified, it requires a higher defense level. This is the only way to add diversity to the game, in addition to filling in the end levels (80-99) while still not totally overpowering anything. Meh didn't see this, modifications are a great idea, but probably tremendously difficult to code, because you'd basically have thousands if not tens of thousands of possible combinations. I'd like to see it happen though if its possible.

I've got a Fighters Torso and Penance Gloves now because of this guide, thanks :thumbsup: BA really is a fun game when you get a decent team together, but its just plain annoying trying to find a decent team.

School is easy, especially American school, anyone with half a brain (I'm being entirely literal there) can come out of school with decent grades. If i was going to buy either, it would be the skirt, as 1) Men in skirts rule 2)I'd want it for the stats, not the look, 3) the look of a skirt is better than the trousers anyway, 4) assuming my character has the capability of feeling dis/comfort, a skirt made of metal would be more comfortable than trousers made of metal, 5)I'd have the pleasure of hearing all the noobs insult me and my gay skirt, and you can never have enough noobs insulting you.

The whole point of money is to do away with trading one resource/item for another, and creating a scale for this. Quite frankly its a very bad idea.
