Like I said, you can't observe time non-arbitararily. I am not a creationist or what-not, but what if there is something else that causes the animation cycles to work? I mean a force or summat, not a god.

What if time as we percive it does not exist? What if it's something else that causes 'time', some invisible force? A river in a different reality pushing our universe forward through the RIVER OF 'TIME'!! I got carried away a bit, but I think I made my point. We don't have a clue about time do we? Can I look at some time? Can you bring me some time on a plate?

It depends on the dominant faith. If a country is controlled by Muslims or Christians you can have them trying to impliment their religion into every aspect of life to "save the heathan from the infernal flames of hell". This leads to oppression.

I think it's pretty sad that Amnesty int'l uses logical fallacies in their responses. They're equivocating killing with murder - that's ridiculous. Murder and killing are synonyms And how is it justice if the person who recieved the death penalty is proven innocent and it cannot be corrected? Unless you got very hard evidence like a video of the crime, that's gambling, not justice. It's relying on the opinion of the judge or jury. A sentance to prison from anywhere to life would be alot more safe of an option as any mistakes can be corrected and the effect is the same as an excecution, except some people might be angry that they cannot fulfill the instinct of revenge. Revenge is nothing but an arbitarary instinct that should not take part in laws.
